Fraser is concerned that Lacho will admit to being part of the plot. Motibai questions Manu's decision to keep the truth from Gangadhar. Manu tells her that Motibai's devotion to Gangadhar Rao has impressed her. Motibai makes the decision to chastise Fraser. She tries to fight him but is overcome. Just in time, Manu arrives and rescues Motibai from Fraser. Fraser shoots Manu as he turns the tables on him.
