This just popped into my head. I googled “Ongo Bongo Baby”. Nailed it on my first try!

When this came out I asked my parents for the CD for my birthday. Everyone in my family was surprised cause I mainly listened to rock and metal but when I received this album I kept listening to it all day long non-stop. Timeless. ❤️

In addition the lyrics is repetitive and circles around a feeling that is hidden deep in me, and this song does not show me this hidden thing, feeling or memories, but only reminds me of his existence.

My oh my, how time has passed away... I was about 7 or 8 when this came out, discovered it a while ago here on KZread but with a low quality. Now I've seen that this great track was uploaded in better quality. Makes me miss the time around 1999/2000 when everything seemed easier and not so strange as it does today.

My family has always been very hippie surfer and Volkswagen camper van type of family. I must have been 2 years old or 3 years old back in 2004 or 2005 when I first heard this song while my aunt and uncle drove me in their camper van playing this song on the way to the beach. Its crazy how many people come back to this everyday... this song is masterpiece!!!!!!

Perfect chill music! I’m happy I had parents that showed me such a music, I feel like many of the people my generation don’t even know he existed... also Me Gustas tu, Bongo bong and Je ne t’aime plus are golden and such a wonderful idea to unify the last two.

I remember 1998. I was 5 years old. My father had the radio on for the night. I could not sleep and in the middle of the night and flew that song ... so it sticks to my memory
