Soooo, I decided to keep the shoes!!

Beautiful shoes but I would just say be absolutely sure they will support the front of your foot to allow you walk comfortably, even a little bit, as you would have to at any party/event etc. While I find the style beautiful, I have alas never been able to walk, even small "party walks" in mules so just make sure you are fully content if you are keeping them. Love your style videos and budget and wish list tips. A great way to plan for luxury purchases.

Thanks so much for sharing - I’ve got quite a few mules in my wardrobe and I’ve learned to walk in them. But you’re right about making sure that I can walk properly in them when deciding whether to keep or return.

They look gorgeous on you ❤️ I would suggest if you still are concerned about how practical they will be as mules you can have a go with the sling back version of the same model. I have them and they are extremely comfortable 👌🏻

I’ve never seen the slingback style in store, but that might be the solution to my problem!

My Asian Wife (Maya-Minnie-Chu) Has These Slip On Mule Heels In The Color Pink In Her Shoe Collection.

I had some Burberry mules in a similar style (I’d swapped for them at a consignment store). I ended up selling them as they were too hard to keep on my feet if any kind of walking was required (even walking between car and a restaurant was a challenge). They were hard to sell, even at a low price…I felt like every potential buyer already knew how darn impractical the mule is! A shoe for standing only. A shoe like that didn’t deserve a space in my closet!

Wow, what a costly learning experience that was! And I totally agree that there’s far less tolerance for uncomfortable shoes these days.

@@whatveewore yes! I’d convinced myself they were comfortable as they were a kitten heel, but they didn’t suit my lifestyle. I’m a person who loves to, and needs to, walk at lot :)

How are you leaning now? I had a few vintage versions of these that were pretty much the only heels I wore for a good year. I don't know that I'd pay retail for them but if you love them and you'll wear them- go for it!
