Arre Bhai actron ne aisa bhi kya kar diya. Unke ilawa bada role, composers ka, writers ka, singers ka, cinematographer ka haath hai filmon ko intresting banane ka hai.. Agar dhun achhi ho aur agar gayak itna great Naa bhi to bhi fim nikal letey hain. Par baat yeh ke jo dikhta hai wo bikta uska hi naam hota he.

GREAT ARTIST OF THE BOLLYWOOD मनोज कुमार साहब

People underrate the fact that this guy was a Superstar in his own right. Might not have done so much in his kitty to solidify his position along his contemporaries at the time, but what he did from 1974 to 1976 will never be forgotten. This brilliant artist created history by giving 3 back to back blockbusters which was unusual at the time; RKM, Sanyasi and the beloved Dus Numbri..So intelligent with terrific script sense as Asha Parekh fondly recalled in her interview once. He came again with a bang after some years out and created a rocket with the unforgettable Kranti. Manoj Kumar did his own thing even though subtly, but with Class. One of my favourite actors of the 1970s. His Dus Numbri remains till date one of my favourite hindi movies of all time.

I just watched his movie “Purab Pascham” a classic film, on Zee TV and right after the film I saw Manoj sahib on this video . It was a very heart warming feeling. I came to India from Rawalpindi same time when Manoj ji. What a coincidence.

Manor ji is a great person.very genuine.

A Simple, Humble gentleman Manojkumar Legend of yesteryear who gave thought provoking yet entertaining quality films. Good to see him after longtime. God bless him with healthy,peaceful, long life.

His another historical work is Manoj has introduced to Pakistani legend actor Mohammed Ali in bollywood. Manoj is tremendous film maker he has good knowledge in this field how to make the films. I wanted to see Manoj Kumar to work in any film with Jetendara and Dharmendra. Now he became senior citizen and he cannot walk properly. .

What a candid interview. Wonderful. As far as Manoj Kumar is concerned he is perhaps the most underrated talent in Hindi movie industry. Because he never marketed himself. He made movies in the values that he believed in. That's what makes the directors of that era so great .... from Bimal Roy to Hrishikesh Mukherjee to Goldie Anand to Manoj Kumar to Gulzar. Each of them have made movies that have their own distinctive flavour. Sadly that era came to an end quite some time back. Now we seek harmony in emptiness.
