I think Priyadarshan sir is very dependent on his set of people. That's the reason he keeps repeating his character actors, writers and technicians in every movie and that's the exact reason why he is struggling nowadays as most of his confidantes are no more both in Malayalam and Hindi industry.

Waise one of the actors who worked in his Malayalam film Thenmavin Kombath said that Priyettan was behind the great cinematography as the cinematographer worked as per him and even he said that while picturizing his songs the choreographers just instruct the dance moves baaki Priyettan handles that how the song would be picturized. Anil Kapoor once said that he saw that Priyettan is a great director but Priyettan never acknowledged it himself. Waise I agree on the confidants thing, but many of his confidants of Mollywood are dead, in Hindi many are still alive and he should adapt more just like he did in Corona Papers by trying young people and made a good film. Many of his favs died soon in 90s like Pappu and MG Soman still he survived, In Hindi he even adjusted after the death of his favorite Amrish Puri. He should make a film with actors like Vineeth Sreenivasan.

@@tanvitripathi3997 I agree, but that was way back in 1993. For instance, in recent times, for his 2016 movie Oppam, he hired director Alphonse Putharen to help him edit the trailer of that movie. Moreover, he himself has admitted this to ETimes on April 2023 that he will not make comedy movies anymore as he feels insecure due to the passing away of most of reliable actors.

I feel very good when someone praises Priyettan by calling him a kind person, looks like a slap on his wife who defamed him a lot in media after spending 24 years with him & extorting money from him at the name of divorce alimony(His divorce was a clear case of extortion & blackmailing by wife). Khair leave the wife thing aside. I love Priyettan very much not only as a filmmaker but also as a human being,I have heard he is a strict man but I feel he is an innocent kid from heart.❤ Love You Priyettan, Thank You for inspiring me.❤🤗 Hope so we can see him back in Hindi soon with his famous gang in Hindi.
