@Randy Lahey18 I think it’s more that the skaters themselves don’t want to set their sights on being the best at skating mini. If a transition skater can rip on mini, they will want to go bigger on bigger ramps. If a street skater has a nice bag of tricks on mini, they’re still obviously going to focus on street skating.

Recently found this gem of a contest! Been pulling for Wooten since seeing him skate! Love all his 1st wall bangers dudes got talent!!

I remember Jake from Season 6 of the camp Woodward show, and he’s improved so much since then, he makes advanced tricks look effortless 🔥

Rodding out the mini is a land, he didn't do a nose pick stall. Completely different comparison. His back truck has to be above coping for it to count

Heimana could of won easily if he just went dirty tactics and hit him with bunch of invert variations and some of the weird grab variations he has.

Totally agree, I can do hundreds of tricks on a 3ft mini but on a 5ft mini it's another story.

Good call by the refs on the last trick. As much as it would’ve been cool to give Heimana that front. 270 pivot fakie, he actually did a sugarcane. If I was calling that I would’ve went with the friendly re-do or 1 extra try at the end (same). Or I would’ve been so stoked he landed something that I would just give it to him. For the record though, Wooten’s backside sugarcane to fakie wasn’t really a proper make. But good game anyway! This season was epic

I'm not gonna front, I somehow was not aware of Jake prior to his MAM game with Andy, whom I was cheering for. My man's beat him, and tried some sick ish in the game too, so I had respect for him. Started watching his matches, and saw him at a Red Bull demo in the UK I think it was, he's nuts. My guy does stuffs no one else will even dare think of.
