I must be aging. That movie was superb. Pulled all the right heart strings. I rode the story with Manny. The highs and all through the lows. It made me a mess, more than once. I give it five stars. A simple story - well told. Onya Carl!

If you liked this I highly recommend Dating the Enemy (1996) with Guy Pearce and Claudia Karvan, and Paperback Hero (1999) with Hugh Jackman and also Claudia Karvan. Classic Sydney rom coms.

Why? . . . W H YYYyyyy?!?!!! . . . Why is there only ONE comment?! AND, from 3 months ago?! 🤷 Carl. "Caaaarrl..!" Ya know we love ya! This isn't a full-on "comedy movie" so to speak, but beautifully charming & lots of Barron wit. But above ALL, it's one of THE sweetest love stories I've seen. I've been a fan for yonks but even ··•me•·· ..even I, was quite shocked at myself when my tears came at the end. Full on cried at the sweetness. Thankyou to the poster. . . . Love Carl . . . ··•LOVE•·· Manny! . (What an absolutely UNDER-rated film.)

WOW MAN. I've always adored this comedian Carl Barron . He is a HILARIOUS TALENT ever since I caught him on Just For Laughs. I've not seen him in years as I disconnected my cable 10 yrs ago. It has been AWESOME GETTING CAUGHT UP ON HIS ACT. He is a triple threat!!! ACT, SINGS?!!! Can make me piss myself. Not a good LOOK FOR SOMEONE 6'6" 400 LBS. CONGRATULATIONS CARL. BEST TO YOU IN 2024. Omg that was the best movie I've seen in such a long time. I seen carl live in Tasmania about 15 year ago and my face hurt from smiling and laughing for over 2 hours, one of my favourite memories from my past. I have always had a crush on him and followed is awesome career. This movie touches so many aspects of my relationship's and commitment issues I've had and opportunities I've let slide because of fear 😢 and at 51 watching.. alone. I laughed and cried loving every minute. Xxx carl 🥰

i relate ta carls comedy/movies had to watch it 2twice repeat some bits to get it im slow lol my ex loved him we always some skits every now and think he reminds me about some things i see in me self its not great unless ya solve it 😬

Such a great movie. I grew up around Wyandra near Charleville. Love this guy's humour and such a great ending makes the romantic in me feel all gooey chewy. My high school first love Tom Begg came from Longreach. They had the newagency there. So.....such a good movie. Go Carl. Hope he is happy with kids on the way...
