I would call Manner of Death a game-changer. The story is sophisticated. The romance is not plonked into the middle of the story with a bunch of filler scenes. The romance is intricately woven into the main story line which includes murder and is the whole point of the story. You could say the main story is the meat course and the yaoi is the tasty side dish that makes the whole meal palatable. It is the most mature BL and although there were certain issues regarding certain storylines and execution, overall it is the best BL not just in Thailand but everywhere else. I hope that the story sets a trend but I am not holding my breath. The BL industry might just go back to four love stories, set in a school campus, where all the school girls are thirsty and embarrassing fujoshis and the love stories are melodramatic and over the top.

I'm addicted to this series I absolutely love Max Nad Tul work but this one is so intriguing and interesting and romantic at the same time absolutely recommend this series to anyone
