Fun little detail - after the demoman puts on the 3D glasses we see the TV from his perspective. The video is tinted light blue as he only sees out his right eye due to his eye patch. Which is also ironic as 3D glasses require both eyes to work.

Me too
What has always struck me, what REALLY sets you apart, has always been your choreography and prop customization to create these crazy scenes and short stories. It's not the smoothness, it's not the camera work, it's not the action sequences.... it's the way you twist the world on a physical and logical level to make this crazy stuff happen. You do it at various levels. You mess with the map, with the items, the sounds, and the character looks in a psychedelic blend to put in whatever you want. We can NEVER be sure of what you are gonna pull out next, or what sort of references and jokes you will put in. It's become a game to rewatch and try to catch all of the details.

i still wonder how he messes with the items and the maps.
@scout360pyroz

@@logistic5721 since he makes it in gmod, at the lower levels a map is generally a collection of meshes for terrain, zones for stuff like water, and props that are frozen in place and treated as part of the map. All easily editable, if a bit odd at times. the props and models are things you can mess with using both the original valve and gmod tools. My knowledge on what is available is from around 2010, and doesnt include custom tools that were available at the time I wasn't aware of. 12 years. 12 years for better tools to be made and refined over time.

Still waiting on the return of the trapped engi-pirate and creepy soldier-medic storyline in your videos. Don't know, but having returning characters (if you have good ideas for them) always draws me in and somehow you manage to invent very interesting and compelling characters for each video and I find myself time and time again, wondering how their stories would continue. But even if you don't let some characters return in a second video and keep them all as closed off stories, your videos keep being amazing, and you are still one of the best tf2 creators on youtube.

The expressions on the faces of all the characters are amazing. They’re very over exaggerated without making it unfeasible to watch and or unfunny. The randomness and unexpected nature of the videos just makes it that much better, never knowing what’s next. I’ve been watching your videos for a while now and I really appreciate the dedication you put into your videos. Truly legendary :) Thank you for listening to my Ted talk. I love that you could just watch those in a random order, because every single episode is a self-explaining story based on a joke, association or idea of some kind. It's like every time you watch a devious theatre play, where anything is possible and characters are self-aware. Thanks for reminding me to add Momma in a Box to my favourites again, you crazy genius.

5:24 IT’S THE ENGIE FROM MEET THE PYRO (eltorro version ofc)
I think the voicelines TF2 provides fit perfectly with the stupid expressions in each frame, even when they aren't edited. The way the expressions change to fit what's being said are impossibly smooth and fit with the sounds, and TF2's default silliness makes them sound even more whacky.

3:08 Scout as Heavy going Thor's Hammer Mode. Then lands behind doing the One punch style
7:56 "One of you is gonna survive this" I love how there is a voice line predicting what will happen
I will never not love the custom cosmetics. From tire heavy all the way back to cupcake engineer in radio, it's almost easy to not notice they aren't real just because of how well they fit in lol
Wow. You can tell how different the older and the newer animations are. TV is an old one, so the movement is still a bit jerky and stiff, but after that it comes out smooth as butter - not to mention the facial expressions become more and more deranged! I just love this channel sometimes.

that is what really defines him, to me. the winglet has his smoothness, crash maul has their sporadic but incredible action sequences, a few other creators have some well polished stand outs... but only one person can pull this kind of crazy off with such detail.

0:02 Snipers face is squishy

No one has noticed this reference but 6:56 is a reference to a Skyrim meme posted 9 years ago (Yes this means someone actually put explosives in a bin irl), and I’m surprised eltorro recreated almost everything from the trash flying out of the bin, to the person falling over due to the recoil. This is one of the coolest references I’ve ever seen. Since the meme is so old many people pass right by this reference.
May the Scruumpa Luumpas have mercy on you
the way you edited the voice lines combined with the *fluid* animation makes this such a weird eye candy

Looking at the prior made videos on this channel and these newer ones causesuch a mind boggling feeling. It's truly impressive how far the style has come. Models now pushed far past what wasnt intended, and now into what was never thought to be done. I am so happy to see how much more insanity is put into these videos each time.

Honesty Momma in a box is my favorite animation you have made! and I'm glad its on this archive.
1:43 i Am BLIND
(0:21) *MENACING* (3:13) What most people thought heavy was thinking: *"That's not momma"* What Heavy was thinking: *"What were they doing in there?"* (5:21) R.I.P engi (6:00) We gotta see more scenes like this remade in TF2 style. (7:31) There are times I wish we can have a demo with 2 eyes. (5:47) *ENGI IS COMING FOR YOU!*
Your stuff just keeps getting better and better, keep supporting the TF2 community with your amazing SFM animations.
Everything is so rubbery. It's almost making me sick. I love it.
0:42 I feel like that engineer is judging me.
The whole thing is just amazing. Man I really wish you make more of those!
Your animation is smoother than whip cream.
These are so joyful, thank you for making these
Thank you for using Crazy Machines 2 music, it's always a blast to the past to hear it
The characters escaped the womb 8 months early
The deformations of the face make for some very cute expressions. Nice.
7:43 Willy Demoman having both eyes was.... somehow uncanny valley level discomforting.
eltorro, your animation when from snappy to VERY smooth, the improvement was insane and your videos are super funny. keep making animations!

its amazing that this is all in gmod

The animation is so fluid and lifelike. But I cannot get past how like a fever dream these videos are...
I think I lost all my braincells having fun watching this.
All of these animations are awesome!
I'm so glad you are still making videos! Keep it up please!
You could make such badass serious videos yet you make this and it’s great
I’ve watched these animations for around 3 years now they’re amazing
something about finding the Easter egg by looking for the best frame to see the rear of the book, ending up seeing Luigi, snorting about the Easter egg, and then seeing you say hello is so fun having rewatched this thing and finding another thing to notice every time. even the engi on the ladder for half a second. There's luigi again.
Как всегда классно и смешно! Обожаю!
your animation it's just too good my guy,, i'vve been watching for so long and never gets old
The animations are so clunky but so smooth. It's just a fever dream and i fuckin love it.
Bro always when I see a compilation I think (holy shit all this time waiting for this hilarious masterpiece) good job mate
Please keep making the vids with these new motions they’re so damn funny and I love rewatching all your vids!
Very fun video! Thanks for uploading!
The amount of detail in your animations is amazing! Take the ,,wild buildings" magazine as an example.
This is so random yet so hilarious the same time and the animation is super smooth
I love your content so much, you never cease to amaze.
I love how stupid, smooth and dumb these masterpieces are. This man has perfected animating tf2 characters to perfection.
This is beautiful. I like this very much.
for a gmod animation this is so satisfying and broken at the same time this has to be the best broken sfm
