This movie is based on real life story of Captain Vikram Batra who died in the kargil war which happened between INDIA and Pakistan, and Dimple cheema is his girlfriend and they are not married and also she remain's unmarried till date and lives her life as a widow even though they didn't got married, which show's how much she loved Vikram.

It's not just a movie.. It's the life story of Captain Vikram Batra.. It's his life and that's happened to him.. We can't change it..

He not only died in the movie but in reality too and his girlfriend means the girl who cried alot is now 43 and he is still not married because she said that she will only Marry him not some other guy
