Manjolai Tea estate is located at a distance of 70 KM from Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu. Manjolai Hills is located at the Tiger Reserve of Kalakad Mundanthurai. Manjolai is located above Manimuthar Dam and Manimuthar Waterfalls, so people planning for Manjolai visit can also visit Manimuthar Waterfalls and Dam.
Due to safety concerns visitors are not allowed to travel in two wheeler's. Alcohol and Drugs are strictly prohibited at Manjolai and you and your vehicle will be checked for its possession.
Mostly its difficult to get permission for night stay at Manjolai, but if you are lucky enough you can book the stay online if available. One of the best way to visit Manjolai without getting permission is to travel through government transport.

99 years lease Agreement between Singampatti jameen vs Bombay Dying company ends in February 2028.Government notified this area as reserve forest / Tiger sanctuary, entry may be restricted / banned, so those who want to visit this area go before that.
