Have u seen ur ex army officers..? they step down to the level of village defence volunteer and speaks.. that is the difference.. see News X channel interview in early conflict days and compare it.. you can easily differentiate between a village defence volunteer and an officer... Check it..

Yes, d slogan dt night was " Kuki hatlo, Kuki hatlo " meaning kill Kukis, kill Kukis, then d killing n burning of Churches, houses started on d 3rd May, night, 2023.I do not know bt it seems it might not b possible for d two to live together again side by side as before for Kukis who had been caught so suddenly in such a violent situation unawares might never b able to live normally again.... I have never heard the slogan and even if it had. R u going to put ur blind eyes to the rally kukis organized in Ccp shouting "Don't be afraid, Myanmar and Mizoram is with us". "We will kill all meitei and take revenge against David". These are few slogans, don't take advantage of the fact that ur Myanmarese language is not understood by many, but Manipuri, u guys understand.

The difference is while the Kukis used their available arms to protect their villages, the Meiteis used it to attack the kuki villages. The Kuki hav to protect themselves as the state government n its forces were compromised n work hand in gloves with the radicalize Meitei groups/volunteers n the center turning a blind eyes. The problm was in Ccpur but within an hour thousands mob started attacking Kuki locality in Imphal, the capital city. The city police didn't do anything, CM staying in the comfort of his house as if nothing happen, doesn't even condemn or take action on anyone on what happens in the Imphal city. He can't even or didn't protect his own party leaders houses n property instead giving a free hand to the mob led by thousands of radicalize groups even when a curfew was announced. All the narrative of the Meitei abt narco-terrorist, refugees, poppy cultivators, etc, are just excuse to divert the public from their true intentions of annihilating the Kuki community.

Read your own comment first. Say, the meities are armed with 3000 wpns (1000 returned), and are also majority, and are also being killed by village defenders with local weapons. Where's the logic.

1. The Manipur Hills district has been held dry for the last 50 yrs. The hill tribals cultivate land for their livelihood with no government support/assistance while the Imphal valley grew into metropolitan city. The annual budget between 2017-2021 shows the allocation of 21900 crores, out of which the Imphal valley which is only 10% of the total Manipur areas was allocated 21481 crores (97.95%) of the budget. While the hill district comprising 90% of the total area is allocated only 419 crores (2.05%) of the budget allocation. This is the reason while Manipur Hills is boiling. 2. Imphal is no more acceptable for the Kuki-Zo people as a home. After the holocaust of Kuki-Zo how can any sane person in power will think of resettling the Kukis in Imphal valley again. Will they take responsibility of all the mayhem that happens in Imphal valley and any eventuality that will happen again from those radical meiteis and the anticipated hate out of these conflicts. Any person thinking of putting the Kukis and Meiteis under one administration or trying to bring status quo will perhaps be insane. It is too little too late. Peace can be restored but both the communities cannot live side by side in one administrative unit. 3. Again on the 3rd of Aug 2023 all Arms Kote in 2nd Battalion IRB, Bishnupur has been looted and all arms taken by Meitei mobs to attack Kuki villages. 4. The Manipur Police Commandos, IRBs and Manipur Rifles combined attacked Kangchup Geljang village in the early morning of 3.8.2023. The proof is one 6th IRB personal Shri (L). Riaikanta Meeitei died due to bullet injuries in the head. This shows that Manipur is not safe for Kuki people. Meitei and Kukis cannot live together under One Administration anymore. Separate Administration in the form of State or UT is the only solution. 5. You can imagine and get inference that on the 3rd Aug 2023 when meitei mob were in confrontation with the Central Security Forces including Rapid Action Force at Kangvai, the Police Commandos were seen siding with the mob and firing automatic rifles at the Indian Army/RAF columns. In this type of mentality how can Kukis remain peaceful under the meitei majority government and State governance.

The Colonel is just talking here like a Meitei, nothing more.

A Kuki-Zo youth gets beheaded by meitei militants...a meitei professor comes out in defence and actually justifies it for their ST demand. Kuki-Zo women are paraded naked and raped... another meitei professor comes out and trivialises the agony and suffering of the women by saying this is not a rare occurrence and happens in other states too. Kuki-Zo women are paraded naked and raped, the whole world is shocked. Except for meitei mothers who've come out to protest against the arrests of the guilty. Meitei radicals and militants loot a state police armory without any resistance...a meitei ex-army comes out and says it was an act of desperation. Had he simply condemned the criminal act of looting weapons and spoke about disarming both sides, he would have trodded the right ground. It's sad his ethnicity compels him to be biased and condoning towards a blatant criminal act by members of his community. Meiteis will continue meiteing. At this point i don't know which is the closer synonym to the word meitei - compulsive liar, or degenerate propogandist.

Col. Sir, Who are you to have an objection to separate administration for Kuki-zo people? The situation and ground reality in Manipur is totally different now. Its a wrong assessment and observation indeed. Whatever come may in our way, the Kuki-zo people are determined to fight for a separate administration to the finish where the only solution lies now in order to live in peace and amity today and coming generation . ..

Mr Manongba is speaking only from the Meitei perspective. Meitei comprise of >70% of Manipur's police force and the spineless & sectarian way it has conducted itself, it is understandable that the Kuki-Zo people do not trust the state forces.

It’s failed Central Government should be answerable all this communal conflicts, the Central Government should sent army or police drum others state to stay neutral

Mr. Lt.Colonel how can you say controling the violence? The State Govt. is the main culprit and who start and lead the violence. You said that the Police Dept are bias, most of the Police Force are Meitei and those Police handed Kuki women to the Meitei Mob. They are incapable force to control the situation. Barkha what about AR blocking the public and the meitei villages burnt to ashes in front of them. State police has only 45% meitei and the rest are from differnt communities in Manipur.

If development is not happening what your local MLAs are doing .Such underdeveloped districts are everywhere in each state and each states capital city will see the major development in India. Cong and BJP govt did not do the development in all rural areas of northeast intentionally because they don't want to distrupt the geography and it's forest and motive is to keep the beauty of the nature intact. Rather we should to talk about how to stop the poppy cultivation and start talking with govt for livelihood for the common people . We should talk about dealing with refugees and illegal immigrants which eventually result in influx in population and ultimately refugees and immigrants will take up major chunk of jobs and other benefits because they will ultimately get aadhar card and other govt documents as we all know that it's how easy to take this documents in India. We should be focusing and talk about real problems.metei gets ST status or not it's upto concerned authority.
