Oh David father's health was not like this when I saw him a couple of weeks back from news, he is getting weaker and weaker day by day i pray that God give him strength in this hard time. Everyone outside Manipur must be really eager to know as to what that the actual root cause of the issue, what led to this massive scale chaos in Manipur. Let me narrate the story from the beginning and ramifications it has brought and the proper ultimate measures to end this issue once and for all. In manipur, there coexisted peacefully main communities Meiteis, Nagas , kukis, meitei pangals making a total of 34 communities along with the minority ones. When discussing about the situation of Manipur, we also need to have an ample knowledge of Myanmar 🇲🇲, iits current and earlier political status, demography, etc etc. Myanmar is in a politically unstable, restless state, for the past 50 years, its govt had been in continuous fight against the Myanmar based Kuki-Chin rebels who reside in the vast Chin State of Myanmar. The myanmar armies would perform aerial bombings to eliminate the Kuki militants, as the Kuki militants target Myanmar government machineries, institutes, myanmar army etc. Both shoot, fire at each other using various weapons funded by the million dollars worth economy as these Kuki militants are mafia lords of the infamous Golden Triangle , they plant poppies in extensive scale, do human trafficking, arm smuggling and what nots to meet for the ever- continuing demand to supply the huge amount of logistics to fight against and resist the myanmar government. But due to aerial bombings and huge damage inflicted by the Myanmar army, and air force, the Kuki militants/ terrorists feel unsafe to stay at their own Homeland. Currently, the Manipur- Myanmar border ~398 km remains unfenced and border is not kept under vigil watch, i.e., left unguarded, in a sense, the border is porous so, these Myanmar based Terrorists can enter Manipur easily. For the past 10 years, these illegal foreign illegal Terrorist have entered Manipur, and formed Terrorist organisation in Manipur Under the Umbrella terriorist collectively called UKLF(united kuki liberation front) and kuki terrorists like Kuki national Army, KNO, ZLF(Zoumi ),etc etc and these terrorists have projected their representatives in Kuki inhabited areas/constituencies Like in saikul, Churchandpur districts,kangpokpi districts and many other kuki majority regions. The 10 MLAs thus elected and projected by these kuki terrorists includes Paolenlal, Nemcha Kipgen, Haokip and 7 others. These 10 people are the actual masterminds and underworld Kuki Dons and active leaders of the Kuki Militia. Then, the illegal immigrants headed and led by these 10 MLAs came together started expanding poppy business in the dense forest regions of manipur, settling in the forests, hill regions, and started to expand their poppy/drug business in Manipur, so they cleared vast acres of forests lands, to plant poppy in huge scale and after the poppy is cultivated, the soil becomes infertile as they used salts and chemicals to increase yield. The soil therefore after cultivation becomes varren and no plants can grow in that region as plants require optimum pH conditions to grow, and the forest to regenerate. So, later they shift to another forest region clear it and repeats the same process resulting in massive decline in forest cover, weather/ climate change, annual rainfall rate has declined, the soil cannot retain water resulting in landslides, soil erosions, floods etc etc.Its estimated that the Poppy Economy generated by these kuki Terrorists in Manipur is worth in between Rs 400- 500 crores.plus these terrorists militants viz Kuki National Army, UPLF, ZNA, and many more kuki terror outlaws as they operate in Manipur but in 2008 they signed SOO agreement with the state, mediated by the centre in a Tripartite manner. Manipur on the other hand come to recognise the harms it has brought, drug related crimes rose exponentially, drugs worth crores of rupees seized along the Indo- Burma International Highway, and many untoward incidents have increased hundredfolds, drug abuse amongst the youths went sky high, u know how drugs can affect family, and one and all. So in 2021 under the leadership of Chief Minister N Biren Initiated a flagship program "War Against Drugs" To eliminate all the drug economy and eradicate poppy cultivation in Manipur. So, the state forces, Manipur Police, IRBs, Manipur CCommandos conducted state wide search in the hills, jungles to detroy all poppy cultivation wherever they find. They destroyed huge acres aof poppy cultivations. The program was a huge success and indigenous people appreciated the good work of the Biren led government. As this program continued indiscriminately in all the regions of the state, it came as a major blow to the kuki terrorists as their logistics, arms, ammunitions, whatever necessary are provided and financed by these poppy cultivations, as their income generating path has been cut off. Meanwhile, the Meiteis who were Originally tribes, tried to get listed in ST category as they were deprived of the rights which were rightfully theirs, so the meiteis filed a petition in the Judiciary to look into the matter which was a democratic way to enquire, ask for rights through the judicial system. Then, these terrorists planned to wage war. Before the fateful 3rd of May, a month ahead, the meiteis settled in Kuki Majority region like churchandpur, observed that the kukis would stocked up petrol, diesel in ample amount that left a sense of apprehension but none could say any as none can mind others business. While in Moreh, and Saikul the Meiteis observed Olive green dressed unknown strangers patrolling with arms before 3rd may. They were trying to execute their plan. So, the Kuki Organization Called ITLF projected by the kuki terrorists seized this opportunity and used it as a DIVERSION and called for a state wide rally to protest against the Meiteis who were trying to acquire ST status. However, their intentions were different. On May 3rd, large number/ thousands of Kukis flocked the Churchandpur streets , shouted slogans, armed with slings, slingshots, and most of them were dressed in black and the police did nothing but allowed the protestors to march. Later into the evening, the kuki protestors started stoning meitei houses, shouting at meiteis, started torching meitei houses, and amongst the rally goers came to unveiled The Kuki terrorists armed with Assasult rifles, M16, and other sophisticated weapons. This was their so called peaceful rally which the kukispainted and used as a distractiont in the Whole media. so the meitei started crying, fleeing from burning houses. Those weak, ill meitei people who cannot escaped in time got burnt with the house and died. Then, they also gang raped Meitei women, some they brought them to fields and raped them in the fields while some other they in order to leave no evidence threw the rape victims in burning houses. U might be wondering what the law enforcement agency, police might be doing amidst the then chaos and houses being torched. The police fled with the innocent Meiteis as they said they didnt receive any order. Back then the DGP of manipur police was a Kuki by the name Doungel. So he was connected to the whole chaos. He didnt give any order as he was kuki. Plz consider the same plight, many women from ur community done like this by other community and killed mercilessly. I will leave that to judge by urself i wont openly say the kukis r right or wrong. So u judge. The next day, 4th May, the meiteis after hearing the news, distraught and sickened by the news of Meitei Women getting raped, couldnt stay free anymore went to kuki dwelling village and the naked parade happened as an act of retaliation, vengeful filled anguish. Follow the chronology of events which is why i mentioned the dates. Until now, the Kuki terrorists have killed so many innocent Meiteis. And they r still shooting at meitei villages settled in foothills where the kukis taking chance of higher position shoot at meiteis. So the paddy fields in foothill are left untended as the kuki mfckers shoot indiscriminately at paddy farmers. So now u judge from my brief story. I have missed out a lot of info too. But i narrated u what is happening on ground 0. As the Kuki militants operating in Manipur r actively carrying out narcoterrorism in the state, i urge all the indians to come together. Its not only the Meiteis responsibility to fight against narcoterrorism. Its time for the whole of india to fight against narcoterrorism and make sure this never happen again. Lets give the kuki militants a befitting reply to end poppy related issues in manipur for once and all. Spread this slogan throughout India and wake up sleeping india and lets address the core issue. And my earnest request to all Indians and what i observe and conclude is that the chaos can be ended after the Government eliminates all the Kuki Terrorists otherwise it will repeat and sports powerhouse of india, Manipur will keep on suffering.
