I'm a Filipino and I envy Azerbaijan because they have so many historical and very beautiful architectural buildings that are well preserves even up to this day. Sadly Manila lost its Western glamour and elegance which once touted as the Paris of the East/Asia in the early 20th century after it was close to completely destroyed during WW2.

Manila is Manila.. it is one of the world's Most important cities since 15th Century. From China's Barter Change to the Galleon Trade of Spain to Mexico. Once called as the "Paris of Asia" Conquered by America in 1898 and Japan in 1940's. 2nd Most destroyed City during World war 2 after Warsaw of Poland and was rebuilt by Filipinos to a much greater Metropolis since 1946. It will be Forever remain as the "QUEEN CITY of the PACIFIC" Historically and economically. God Bless My City.
