He is well verse and he knows about the history how some countries transformed from an impoverished country to a well established and industrialized place. Mayor Isko Moreno mentioned MALAYSIA’s Lee Kuan Yew, though I have not finished reading it yet, I do not regret getting one for a start, the title, HOW TO BUILD A NATION, I am no political entity to any party not even a writer or journalist , I just happened to become interested in him and his achievements, here and on, I will continue to discover for myself how he is and was able to build MALAYSIA to its GRANDEUR. I am no longer a CITIZEN of the Philippines, I swore and pledge my allegiance to the US, I remain so but I still have the blood of a Filipino. True :) but one thing I like in Singapore that Philippines don’t have is Public Drinking is not illegal, it only becomes illegal once the person becomes public disturbance. Unlike Philippines, your just in front of ur house minding your business then ur treated like a criminal, yes it’s the law. But the police should tolerate it better, especially if the person is not drunk, instead of arresting and abusing there power. Police should use force if the person becomes violent. Not when a person isn’t

I always admired Singapore as well. Such a small country that holds one of the most powerful passport and financial sector in the world. Sure, we will not attain what Singapore achieved as a country. But at least as a country we're trying to raise the bar for our own people. Let's be better so we don't need to go outside of our country just to seek financial stability for our families back home.

We have lived in Singapore due to an IT job contract for more than a year...it is quite difficult for Manila to become Singapore due to the following reasons...it is located in an equator so it only rains but no typhoons...it is smaller than Manila so budget-wise...it is a financial hub for all the biggest banks in the world...he should make a lot of bliss type buildings(they say the HDB Housing idea was borrowed from Mrs.Marcos) for the poor of Manila as they have gated Private Condos for those with higher incomes...they have a lots of tourists/expats.as they kept on reinventing new tourism ideas and not necessarily old tourist spots...they have more designer brands than local brands...Chinese people whom 90% of their population are entrepreneurial in nature...some businesses like their transport system such as bus/MTR and supermarkets of the same name scattered all over are state-owned...and my last observation is they are called "fine city" as it has a double meaning like it is really a fine city but it fines for its citizens consist of heavy fines...for example for gum chewing...some fines even include caning(beat them with bamboo stick for many times)...since dengue is also rampant in Singapore for example, when one time a friend left a toy of his kid with water in it outside the condo they were fined 500 Sing Dollars...I think this would be difficult to implement in Manila...

I think number one that contributes to poverty is yung pag aanak ng marami, tapos hindi naman natututustusan yung pangangailangan ng bata, it ended up na pagkatapos ng high school, well milagro na ang makatapos ng High School and then hindi na mag co college dahil walang pera, it becomes a privilege for some it's a status symbol and i felt that coz' I've been in that situation na hindi ka makakapag college kase wala ka nang pera pang bayad ng tuition. I hope we all learn from this na itigil na ang humayo at magpakarami, kung wala ka namang ipapakain at iaasa sa gobyerno tulad na nga lang sa sinabi ng isang miss universe, "It's the lack of support that killed their dreams, not poverty", kahit na nga lang sa support, pero maski yun wala
