I want a real friend. A friend that lives in my neighborhood. Someone who will have the same interests. Someone to talk to and pour my heart out. Someone who loves me the way I am. SoI have this group of friends. They are nice, but I feel left out most of the time. There are five people in my friend group (counting me). Since there is an odd number of people, usually one person will be left out, which is me. When we have to pick partners for group projects, they always pick each other, but not me. I’m like the second option. let’s say friend one is on a trip or sick. I’m the second option. I wish I had a real best friend.

I had a best friend that i thought I could truely trust. We've been the closest friends since kindergarten and she had proved so many times that she deserved my trust...until some months ago. All of a sudden she changed so bad and broke all my trust at once in the most horrible way. Broke all the promises and tried to get everyone (espacially my friends) against me and far more. I have a "best friend" but she became friends with another person and she says in her friend and says that in being distant but since that new girl, I'll start talking to her and then she ignores me (though I know she hears me) and starts talking to the other girl like I'm not there. 😣 It makes me upset, and I want other friends, but I'm too shy. since everyones sharing their stories i guess ill share mine, I had a friend once when she used to 'make fun' of me. She was one of the worst friends ever tbh yeah we went places together but she was like an abusive friend. She hits people everytime they say something that sounds 'stupid.' hell, she even hit me and we started fighting. I feel bad for people who are friends with her though, she always made people feel bad and had them apologize. But one day i actually got sick of her and made her apologize. It literally took her about 9 months to apologize to me sincerly. Sigh, i forgave her but our interests changed, im now more of an introvert while shes still an extrovert(its not bad to be an extrovert its actually a good thing). But she left for a year and came back a few months ago and we havent talked since. She hangs out with a popular crowd while Im just, still an introvert lol. moral of the story is that,, dont let people control you ig,, jskjsj im bad at this. Little bit of an update, I'll try not to say too much in case they see it ha ha. Met a new potential friend with the other 2 and we all had snacks and drinks & I had a lot of laughs. Also, one of them when I was upset about something told me and the other girl something about herself that is a secret and even though she is very open it's something that is a secret & her being vulnerable and she told me to try to make me feel better, I think. That's something a friend might do. One of the other two said to her that I am lovely! We might be meeting again soon. I was invited somewhere else by another potential friend for next weekend we'll see which one I choose maybe both :-) Another one was being mad I haven't met up with her yet but she was being a bit weird so I let her go. i'm so used now to being one of the least important friends. the one that gets pushed aside. since i started high school (i'm in my 4th year now) ive never had anyone who I could truly call a best friend. i fell into depression a few years ago and would find myself sat with my friends knowing it wouldn't make a difference of i wasn't there. 1 year ago i got close with this girl and we had a lot in common, she was my closet friend and she told me I was hers. it wasn't until a couple months ago she started hanging out with a new group made mostly up of boys (which is fine, I know I'm not entitled to her) but ever since she's been barely speaking to me unless we have a class together. i know she's allowed to have other friends but it hurts because she was someone i genuinely valued and and i thought she valued me too. but she's still happy so i'll get over it. but for once i want to be important to someone. i hope this helps.

+Somi and Nancy are bae stop comparing them i'm British lmao. we call the 4th year here is year 10 and it's the second last year of high school (ages 14-15). i actually went to Brussels nearly 4 years ago (well the airport) and the chocolate was maaad good.

I was a 11 year old. I was experiencing I felt good. I meet these wonderful girls that looked nice and seemed so fun to hang out with. My other friend which was like my only friend introduced them to me. I was so happy. I knew in my soul we were gonna be great friends. We started talking more and sitting more next to each other at lunch. It was so fun. Going to the cafeteria after school. Texting each other everyday. Saying we love each other. I had a sleepover with them. It was so fun. We went to dog park, dogs kept jumping on us and getting tackled. We watched the kissing booth. While eating peachy rings. While I kept falling asleep. Them waking me up. Next morning I eat Nutella toast. Then we go upstairs and we wanna make a slime video, right when the door rings. My mom has to pick me up. I leave saying bye so happy. I text them from now on saying love you!! Weeks after I was tired and didn’t think straight. I got mad for no reason. I told one of the girls, I don’t think we should be friends for no reason. She was confused so she kept saying some stuff and said forget it. In the morning I texted her saying I didn’t mean what I said. She said i don’t care I’m not gonna stay after what you said to me. I cried the whole night. Half of my year was ruined they were like my bestfriends. And I lost them. Always feeling that guilt like I messed up a perfectly good relationship with them. And I can’t go back. I miss to much. I hope you guys know that.

after reading some comment I felt bad because losing a best friend or being lonely really hurt , I've actually experienced it , I had a bestfriend which I am really grateful to meet because I also learned some lessons friendship our ended, its was really painful for me back in 6th grade I was lonely I had no one and I secretly cried like a lot because I was hurt , seeing her happy with others made me sad and when I scroll to Facebook I would see their post , and they actually look so happy and that even broke my heart and blamed myself , I was actually trying to test her if she would make an effort for me because at that time I felt like I was the only one making effort so I tried to test her (I know that was a dumb idea) but it didn't go as I expected , she didn't reach out to me and that's how our friendship ended...but as I grow older I am actually starting to accept the fact that their is no way our friendship is gonna go back like the old day , everything change ,both of us change , and sometime when I see her I actually don't feel any pain like before I am kinda happy for her I guess she finally find the right people for her , now its my mission to find the right people and I also hope that all the people who feel lonely will be happy and will finf the people or person that will heal, help ,and comfort them , I wish you a happy life to who ever is reading this 💜

Me again! One of the two new friends even put a tag on her social media (won't give too many details LOL!) including the tag "friends" on a photo of her, me and another friend. That felt really good TBH! So, at the moment there are those 2 and also the one I already had. I feel also like the new ones ARE quite loyal, esp. one more than the other but both are nice to me & seem to like me joining them when we go out. I still want it to get closer though. And I've booked to do something socially with a couple of new potential friends on the weekend so as well as the popularity sub, using this for that too plus there's at least 2 other gals wanting to meet me at some stage :-D But also it's quality over quantity. I want to get closer to one of the 2 friends, because I feel like one of the two, both of us are a bit closer to HER than to each other? I have friends but I always feel left out like if I miss school my only real friend tells me what happened like if there was a fire drill or something like that because I have anxiety and I feel like she is the only one that cares what happens but my school has teams and she is on the other team so yeah :/

Yeah. My friend makes fun of me and mocks me I think she just thinks it's funny but it's not and it makes me feel bad. And she's skinnier and prettier than me and I don't want to quit being friends with her but I just want things to be better and have a better relationship. Couple of things. I seem to be making a new friend, it started a while ago but we got closer recently & I'm hoping it continues. She's prettier, in the sense that she seems much more of a guy magnet which I found hard to deal with. But on the OTHER hand she seems to be better at taking nice photos of me and seems to know some make up tips so maybe our "prettier" friends can help us pretty US up even more. She also encouraged me to dress different than normal! But while I want the friendship with her and the other friend to continue, I also want to make some other friends too, new friends and I'd like my old friend to come back as well. I'm doing this AND the popular one. This sub might be helping me and the new friend get closer I hope so and it seems like it :-) :-) or maybe that would have happened I don't know. But like I said I also want some other friends too, and yeah as I have the "pretty" friend with all the advantages and disadvantages of that, I like her a ton, but I'd like some besties as well who I DON'T have that with.

1rst week; I met this girl, her names samara. Do i had a weird thing with a friend a little while ago. The girl i was friends with was very rude and claimed to be depressed and have anxiety. Me and my other friends were kinda depressed too, but not like she claimed to be. We would try and be happy and change our lives for the better but evrytime we would try to do something positive she would get mad and try to make things seem so bad again. Sometimes we would say that we want to live and one day have a family but she would just say that she just wants to kill her self and she wanted us to die together that way. It all got suspicious about her being depressed when she said that she had 'cancer'. We all believed her and tried to help in anyway possible. One day, out of the blue she said she was cured. Like how can you be cure from cancer from one day to another? So anyway, she would ignore us and ditch school with another girl. When she would be with her, she would be laughing and smiling a lot. She would also post on sc pictures of her and her friend. So one day we decided to tell her that we didn't want to be friends anymore. She wanted to cry, all of my friends were yelling at her except for me. When everyone left i sat down with her to actually talk and she said that she just didn't want us to look at her when she was sad that's why she would ditch us. I say that was bs because we were her friends and friends are there to help you but she just used her 'sadness' as an excuse. Well i forgave her and told her that we were going to fight it through together. (Yes im actually that stupid, I did know she was lying.) Anyway i was the only one still friends with her, i was still helping her. A couple of days went on and i get a message from my guy best friend. (my guy best friend was dating that girl) He said that he didn't want to be friends with me anymore because I WAS THE ONE WHO HURT HER THE MOST. I lost my shit by then because he was actually the only one i could trust and i just had lost him because of her bitch ass. So i went off on her on how fake she was, I left her and everyone at school looked at us. I humiliated her in front of everyone and im very surprised to say that i don't care. Days later she texted me and the two other girl the SAME EXACT TEXT saying that she was sorry. Atleast she could've changed the words a little. But we all just rejected her. Till now she's been trying to show off her new 'friends' to us but we don't care about her fake ass bitch anymore.
