    For some players out there saying "where is vibro pattern???" Vibro is not a pettern it's just a strat that you need to tense up your muscles on your keyboard to hit extremely fast patterns. Kind of like vibrating your hand and hitting the wall really fast and you kinda break the wall already lmao.

    I actually needed this. The only information on patterns i had was a pretty old osu! guide to patterns but that barely covered all of the patterns (only covered simple terms like jacks, streams and doubles) out there. Pretty smart to call 3 consecutive notes "Hands" because in Stepmania, singles are called steps, doubles are called jumps, but in Stepmania, you cant press 3 notes normally on a dance pad, so they call it a "Hand" because triples are meant for hand players.

    that's actually not the reason theyre called hands, they originally came from in the groove (which was a ddr clone back in 2005ish that was in arcades) and there were groups of three notes that you would hit by hitting two of them with your feet and then actually bending down so you can hit the third (or fourth) with your hands! people have figured out that you can cheese basically all of these by simply placing your foot across two of the arrows to activate both sensors, but the original intention was to literally hit them with your hands, hence the term "hands"

    few patterns that wasnt mentioned in the video anchor ~ jacks that usually stay in one column ( :..:..:..:.. ) vibro ~ pretty obvious from the name, high cps note patterns quadstream ~ just like handstream/jumpstream but 4 notes dump ~ putting ghost notes outside the beat of the song shield ~ putting a note before a ln (reverse shield is putting an ln before a note) inverse ~ long notes that fills up the entire chart 1:50 chordjacks are sets of 3 notes/hands

    I hope this video blows up since modders seem too scared about charting hard patterns in the actual mod these days. Not to mention a lot of mods focus way too much on death/mine notes and, funny enough, can't chart them right at all. If people are aware of what a hard chart/pattern looks like, and Modder starts to attempt charting harder patterns, FNF will have more variety and appeal to a wider audience. They might let good charters come into FNF and give it a try, I guess. TBH I'm just getting tired of creepy pasta copy and paste, Sonic 100 version, Pibby 1000 version like come on guys 😂. Edit: Let's me shared it on my community tap because people need to see it.

    @Zexenux

    5 ай бұрын

    Dumpstream is more like when you chart a simpler sounding noises as multiple notes/chords, to increase difficulty (goes without saying that it has to match the song.) for instance, some people, instead of mapping a long vocal as just one boring LN, they may wanna increase the difficulty and make it rolls, or trills, or whatever pattern would be justified in that case. Etterna has a LOT of dumps, btw, check those out if u wanna see some examples. (i like Skwid / Lofty map packs) in the case of the clip ur showing, they're just mapping the notes as the vocals come, and aren't doing any more than what the song would traditionally suggest. So it's not really dump
