I just love how the lyrics of this song are super dark but the melody is kind of sad. It really gives the vibe that the POV character, on some level, knows that, in the words of Voldemort from A Very Potter Musical, “killing people doesn’t make them like you, it just makes them dead,” but they are trapped in a delusional cycle of thinking this is how they find love anyway, making it kind of sad for everyone involved

One of the first songs of yours I heard when I was a kid was either blood and bones or unhealthy obsession. Glad this one got finished it was like a wave of nostalgia I needed!
