Gadd is right there and leaves plenty of room for rest of conversation to happen.. rock solid timekeeping.
Giants walked this earth. Unbelievable. Thank you much.
Cool getting to here Lou soloff again. I hadn't heard him since his Blood Sweat and tears days when he played with Randy Breaker. I was wondering what Lou was doing.. now I know. and you cant get much better than George on tenor. Very hip player for this time period.
My nose is gonna bleed! Lol TOO GOOD!!! CRAZY!!!All of them!Speechless! Marvelous!Great skills great arrangements Great musicianship! The bass solo...the arrangement on " my favorite thing"!!! And of course STEVE GADD !!!
Yes! Steve Gadd the original drum machine. George Young US'N 1980's Eric's Bar 88th & 2nd Ave NYC Friday & Saturday nights. What a gas that was. What a line up this is.

Thank you! TREMENDOUS quintet! A pity that weird bump in the videotape, it may them to look as if they were losing his pulse lol, it's even funny sometimes, taking in account precisely the incredible groove of these players!
I was listening this record late 1980's in Osaka Japan. Thank you for your uploading.

Hubbard actually would be # 1 for me on a technical level. His playing on Herbie Hancock’s early solo albums still astonishes me.
magnificent
Great gig, I do prefer Bossa Nova played faster like in other MJQ performances like the 86 PIT show.
OH I FUCKING MISS THAM .
I have all of their albums
WOW! This is hip as hell! What song are they playing around 8min in? Anyone know?
