Mango Phirni Recipe | आम की फिरनी | Mango Season Special Recipe | Aam Phirni | Indian Dessert

We make this in every Mango Season and enjoy with friends during Ramadan. This time have given it Jaggery twist.
Ingredients :
Approx 2 tbs soaked Rice
2 Mangoes (make thick puree)
2 cup Milk
2 tbs Jaggery
To garnish : Mango Pieces & Blanched Pistachios
Method :
Coarsely grind 2 tbs soaked Rice in mixie and keep aside
Churn 2 Mangoes in mixie to make puree
Transfer in a bowl
Further heat 2 cup Milk in a pan
Add churned Rice when milk is slightly warm
Let the milk boil and rice cook along with it
Stir continuously and cook it on slow to medium flame
Turn off the heat when it's nicely cooked and turns thicker
Let it slightly cool down
Then add 2 tbs Jaggery and stir continuously
Transfer the mixture in a bowl and let it cool down
Add mango puree in the milk mixture
(Do not add mango puree in warm milk mixture)
Give it a good mix
Serve phirni in a clay bowl (soaked overnight in water)
Top with Mango pieces and blanched Pistachios
Enjoy Delicious Mango Phirni chilled
