awww yayy! i'm so glad you enjoyed this format a lot! 😭 it was a bit of a learning curve trying to film and edit this so hopefully i can do more of them in the future :3 ohh yah as they say, the most affordable way to read and collect manga is to know Japanese and get jp vols bc those are always readily available, less expensive and take up less space XD yesss the tea time mini art book! i was super super excited about this extra! it's too freakin cute with everyone in modern clothes and wearing glasses haha. oh and another advantage to jp manga is that they often come with extras like this art book T^T i had also gotten the AnY vol 30 which came with the art cards~ i'll show in a different vid uhuhu. hope you have a great day and week! thanks always for your support and lovely comments 🥰

i know right! it's like every other vol, there's some extra content, books, art, acrylic stands 😭 always celebrating something like 100th chapter and will come with some mini figure aaa lol. what are some volumes you've gotten just to get the benefits? XD

Yesss the little Free Cupcake Swim Club hahah 🥰 I was originally only going to get Makoto but I couldn't leave the rest of them behind 🥲 Ohh yah I was actually pretty happy with the original standard cover for Wotakoi but then each of the exclusive covers has something I like and everyone I asked didn't help bc I ended up wanting all of them XD And good to know about House of the Sun! I have so many series I'm in the middle of reading and legit need to finish some oops 😅 It's a vicious cycle. I'll watch hauls that influence me to shop and then getting stuff also makes me want to shop lol. Thank you for support as always! 💕

No, but why is your laugh so cuteeee?!?!?! 😖🥰 I almost screamed when I saw your level 999 volumes!! I've been keeping up with that series too and I absolutely love it!!!! I have hope that it'll get published in English one day because it's just too good to not get licensed. How was your experience buying stuff off buyee? I've seen other people buy from there and I kinda want to too for certain older manga series that I just know won't be getting published in English and for all the beautiful merch not available here in the states, but I've never really bought anything off of proxy sellers like that and I'm just so clueless as to how all of that works and if it gets really expensive because of things like shipping and other fees. Also, how long does it take for your stuff to get to you? I must say that the packaging was a lot better than I was expecting it to be :)

hahaha i've had people say they laugh bc of how i laugh 🥲😂 omg yesss i haven't heard of anyone else reading lv999! so awesome to hear you've been following it too 😍 there's so many series that are digital only and i'm hoping any one of the publishers pick it up since i'm not sure of the possibility of it being available in physical copies too D: i honestly wish all the japanese manga i got in this haul were licensed~ i'll add a little section in my next buyee video so ya'll have some insight on my experience hehe, but shopping on buyee is actually so easy! the only slightly difficult thing is if you're searching for something specific, i search in japanese. usually, i just search the title of the anime/manga and browse all the pages XD there's quite a few content creators out there that offer their code for 2000 yen off on your first buyee purchase and then buyee mercari looks like they have a reoccurring coupon for your first purchase for 5000 yen off on international shipping. FYI, after the int'l coupon, i paid around $27 for shipping on this entire buyee order :) which i think is not bad for all the manga and merch that i bought. considering how expensive some of the things i bought would have cost if i bought it off ebay or US mercari, mercari japan sell these things at way more affordable prices imo even after all the various fees. plus, like you said, a lot of this stuff isn't even sold unless it's through a proxy. after consolidating all my separate packages, which took a day, it literally got shipped and delivered within 2 days at the most. highly recommend you check buyee out! :)

A little late on my comment but holy that spy family fan book looks amazing, definitely gonna look into that. Another great vid, 🥳.

Also they really going all out on the final Wotakoi volume I only got the books a million exclusive cover. Ahh ok so one other person said they got the BN cover and you mentioned you got the BAM cover. I really liked the Kinokuniya cover. It was always such a split vote whenever I asked who liked which exclusive cover more which made me want to just get all of them hahah XD They're all really great covers regardless though :)

@@cadence_la Yeah I was tempted to get all the covers hopefully I don't regret not having them all lol. There's like 2 I've heard about the first being Kaiju Girl Caramelise I hear it has an absurd premise but is very cute and sweet. Also Sweat and Soap is the other which I was kind of creeped out by the premise of it, but everyone tells me it's amazing and not creepy lol. Then there is another but it was just because I saw the cover and thought it was cool and that is Colorless Do you have any recommendations? I'm always looking for new manga to check out

@@holofan4994 haha just don't pay too attention to when people like me show all the covers once they come in so you don't get fomo or feel regrets 😅 ohh i've heard the title kaiju girl caramelise and recall seeing the covers for colorless but haven't looked into them so i'm not familiar with the stories. both look pretty cool though. but yes! i also highly recommend sweat and soap! it's very very good! i almost dismissed this series too bc of the whole scent theme/sniffing tendencies, but honestly, the way it's handled is fine and the amount of great communication between the characters is one of the best i've read! the character development is also very good. hmm recommendations. do you like a particular genre? romance/adventure/fantasy/slice of life/etc...

@@holofan4994 ah ok let's see. things i'd recommend (erm...majority have romance in it haha): A Sign of Affection - i'm following this series chp by chp and it's really great so far Everyone's Getting Married - if you want more mature romance since it's a josei but i really enjoyed reading it I Want to Eat Your Pancreas - it's an emotional read and i loved the manga and movie too Laid-Back Camp - a great slice of life that's easy to get into and a comfy read Living Room Matsunaga-san - i love all the characters that live together and the romance is super cute Orange - another emotional read with interesting concept Spy x Family - because i have to haha. yah it's mainstream but it's soooo good. Yakuza's Guide to Babysitting - i only started reading it but is a wholesome and fun time Tomo-chan is a Girl - super funny romance Wotakoi - also very comedic but a josei Yona of the Dawn - i've only watched the anime bc the manga is very out of stock at the moment, but i love this series

thank you so much! i'm really glad you enjoy them 🥰😭 ohh for the Horimiya cards, it's kinda hard to link bc i founds these by just browsing, but i'll share how i found em-- so from the Buyee website, i go to their Mercari page and search Horimiya in kanji. searching in English doesn't really bring up many results. but from there, i honestly just go page by page and look for stuff i like 😅 oh but actually, i believe you can search "ホリミヤ SNS" and you'll find people selling the ones i got. hope that helps!

That’s a pretty smart and responsible thing tbh 😅 I only buy Japanese manga if it comes with an extra, special covers, or it’s a series I really like but doesn’t have an English print 🥹 I’ve made a few exceptions but I can’t have too many duplicates bc I’m tight on space 😂 What series have you been reading lately?
