Manedara|| Most Offbeat Village in Darjeeling|| জঙ্গলের মধ্যে একটি Homestay 🌿||

Today we take you to Manedara, a complete offbeat destination nestled in Darjeeling district. Surrounded by the Singalila National park this place is so secluded that no car can reach this place except Bolero or cars having high ground clearance. Manedara is a small hamlet offering peace and serenity to all its visitors.
We took Darjeeling mail from Sealdah Railway Station and arrived at New Jalpaiguri Junction the next morning. From NJP, we boarded a magic van for ₹40/- per person and it dropped us at Darjeeling more. From Darjeeling more we booked two seats in a shared cab that took us to Sukhiya pokhri for ₹250/- each. From Sukhiya pokhri we took another shared car named "Sheetal" that charged us ₹300/- each and dropped us at Rimbick Bazar.
Upon reaching, Rimbick, I called up our Homestay and he arranged us a Bolero for ₹600/- to drop us to our Homestay.

The next day we visited Samten Monastery, built in the year 1917. The place was super beautiful and peaceful. The dogs were so cute and ready to get cuddled.

After spending time in the monastery we headed back to our homestay. We did not visit many places as this was a leisure vacation for us.
From Manedara we will move to another offbeat destination. So stay tuned to our channel as we try to offer offbeat destination in minimum budget.
