Wow.....this is one of the most infamous killing spree of humans by any animal in recorded history...and one of the most talked ones definitely. I haven't had the opportunity of reading the book by Col.Pattersom..my reference point is the fanous Hollywood movie starring Val Kilmer and our bery own Om Puri (though I hated how Val Kilmer pronounced Machaan as Makaan in the movie).....but with your narration there was a certain direct connect with the way Patterson had probably written and inspite of having watched the movie countless times..i could still visualize it quite differently... धन्यवाद श्रीमान। मेरे विचार से हिंदी में आदमखोर एक सही उच्चारण है। पर अंग्रेजी में man eater उतना नहीं जमता। अंतिम पंक्तियों में मैने पूछा था की जिस इलाके में आदमखोर का आतंक फैला रहता है वहां के स्थानीय निवासी समस्या निवारण के उपरांत खुद से कुछ धनराशि इकट्ठा करके शिकारी समूह को देते है या नहीं। जैसे की तमाम स्नैक रेसक्वर करते हैं की सामने तो पैसे की कोई बात नहीं करते पर पीछे से बिना पैसे लिए कोई नहीं जाता। कुछ अपवाद को छोड़कर।

नही भ्राता गांववाले ऐसा नहीं कर सकते हैं। बाघ को इस प्रकार मारना गैर कानूनी है। वन विभाग इसकी अनुमति नहीं देता है। सिर्फ डिपार्टमेंट ही आके जानवर को रेसक्यू कर सकता है। बाघ का आतंक वाकये मैं बहुत भयानक होता है। गांववाले कभी कभी बाघ द्वारा शिकार किये गए मवेशी के जिस्म में ज़हर डाल देते हैं बदला लेने के लिए।
