The 4th leg of the Nelson Mandela Marathon is currently underway. Roadrunners kicked off the marathon on Sunday morning, July 14. The 400km marathon, which will be completed over four days, follows Mandela's footsteps along what is now termed the liberation heritage route. Proceeds raised from the marathon will go towards improving the lives of those in impoverished communities. SABC News Reporter Abongile Jantjies sees the runners off as they crisscross towns.
