Are you using glass beads? I can't seem to get it to stand out, it wants to droop. Should I be using a lighter bead?

I've tried this about 5 times now, can't get it to sit right, ends up looking like a cone, what size beads have you used and what size thread, am I pulling the thread to tight on the main circle of beads? Please help, I would really like to make this its beautiful 😍
