All humans are obsessed by snakes when they see them. All simians* and apes are as well. It seems built-in from when we both lived in trees in Africa. * Probably prosimians as well, but I have not read nor heard that.

Because Doug was part of Bruno’s team. He didn’t work for Leo.

In the next election Bruno worked for Vinnick, the Republican candidate. And he worked just as hard. In this world of campaigns and candidates whoever hires you and writes you a check is the BEST candidate. Because you said so. I guess it isn’t wise for campaign directors to have political beliefs.

Actually, the reason Bruno worked for Vinnick was because in real life, Ron Silver changed his party affiliation. So the writers had Bruno do that, too.

It was his first ever GOP candidate and it was because Vinnick was a progressive Republican. Bruno had a very clear sense of right and wrong and was not for sale.
