as a city fan since 2010 before the money era i can tell you that the majority of the fanbase doesn't care about the UCL, we would have been blessed if we finished within the top 5 and all of a sudden we could win the league and all that,, i admit it was clunky at start even th 2012 but since guardiola arrived he transformed the club 180 degrees with all the smart transfers and counting on young players, even this current window man city made a profit unlike many other clubs,, man city is nothing like psg and the ligue 1 can never be compared to the premier league

The thing is, Pep wasn’t actually brought in to win the CL, he was brought in to win trophies and he’s done that. And in comparison managers such as SAF who has won 2 CLs in 23 years are regarded as one of the best ever. It’s been a mix of the players’ mentalities and his managing that have let us down over the years. The recent semi was down to the players, it’ll eventually come soon.
@sT3fFO27
Жыл бұрын
Well, if you want to show that you’re the best coach, you are also measured on a CL title. I mean with the players he bought the only way Pep can prove his worth is by winning the CL. And the way he failed in the past is living proof that he is not as great as people think he is. Losing against Real last season while leading 2-0 is also partly his fault. You cannot find any excuses for him not winning the CL other than his incapability as a coach.

Tbh City had made great strides under Pep. Before Pep, getting to the Quarter finals is the dream come true. Under Pep, we have slowly become a mainstay in the semi-final and a favorite in the competition and had even made the finals one time. UCL as a competition is very different to the League. Different qualities are needed to win both competitions. League is akin to a marathon while UCL is more of a sprint. In order to win the UCL, you need to win at least 4 games (one game of each knockout stages games) while the league, especially the Premier League, requires a lot more wins. 90 points is the bare mininum needed to challenge for the title. Since less games is needed to win the tournament, the aspect of luck played a bigger role than in League. A good example is last season, compare City and Liverpool. City had to face Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid in the QF and SF respectively while Liverpool only need to face Benefica and Villareal. If you think that this isnt significant, City actually had to face liverpool 2 times ( league and fa cup) and Atletico Madrid 2 times (QF legs) in a 2 week period, and then face Real Madrid, a CL legacy club. by that point City are exhausted and bruised. City just need that little bit of luck to get to the final again. Plus, they no longer have Raheem Sterling to mess things up like in the game vs Lyon and Chelsea. Im blaming Sterling for lost against Chelsea because he probably begged for Pep to start him in the final despite not starting in any of the QF and SF. heck, City had to play without a CDM just to accomodate Sterling.
Who's here after Maxwell shared the "Who's here after City won the UCL" comments?

Hey Maxwell! This is a great video and an absolutely wonderful watch-especially after the 2023 Champions League Final. I know you joked about how you were going to get "cooked" after FT in Istanbul, but honestly people who watch the video until the end will know that you actually were 100% correct with everything you said! You correctly pointed out that City don't have issues with their culture or recruitment and were generally headed in the right direction. Moreover they actually corrected all the deficiencies you pointed out this season. They were more pragmatic defensively (especially away from home), they got the most clinical striker in Europe in Erling Haaland, and Pep stopped overthinking his tactics. This is why even with a pretty tricky route to the final, they won very convincingly. You shouldn't get cooked brother-in fact you were absolutely cooking yourself!🔥🍳 BTW, congrats to Manchester City! Champions of Europe, you'll finally sing that!

What a video. It felt so short but yet it was so long. GREAT VIDEO! Keep it up!
Amazing work!!! Was hooked to the video for the full hour 😁😁
In a way it is extremely sad that this has happened and it's a reason as to why I hope City finally get their hands on the Champions League trophy. Their dominance in English football is unprecedented, even when compared to great teams of the past, such as the Liverpool teams of the 80s and the United teams of the 90s and 00s. They also dominated and sometimes won more trophies than City, but City dominated in a way they never did: 93 points, 98 points, 100 points. They've set all the records, and yet the thing most people will remember them for is not winning a Champions League. If they did that, they could be considered the greatest English side of all time. Greatest club? Maybe not, but as one side, surely it is up there with the greats already.

Dude these videos are really awesome, keep up the great work.
Yo this was 🔥💯👏 didnt wanna watch it after reading the title but it was very informative accurate & just plain very good you've earned a sub mate now u owe us another movie after City win the Champions league this Season with the addition of Haaland, Alvarez, Phillips & Ortega & most probably Cucurella all of them perform consistently nothing stopping us lifting the Champions League Cup 😁💙🏆
That Diary of Jane entry at 4:30 caught me off guard.💀
The edits were immaculate. Didn’t feel like an hour, thoroughly enjoyed and entertained throughout 😂👍
Great video, you have an amazing channel. Keep up the great work.
Man City and PSG Have multiple things in common. Making a UCL Final and losing, Being rich, and not having a lot of Fun with Barcelona in the Champions League
I’m a city fan and it hurts to watch, but such an amazing video and it was so worth it to watch!!!
this little edits inbetween were sending me...sucha good vid bro
Amazing video! Love the content keep it up 🎉
This was awesome. As a spurs fan i think a video looking at our 14 years of misfortune would be great too but i know that's probably not gonna happen or actually be a doable video.

@@evonneokafor i reckon they have a reasonably good chance of winning one of the English cup competitions tbh, their squad has so much more depth and we were able to make it far without depth so hopefully we can do something this season
