Sunan Abudawud Narrated Ubadah ibn as-Samit: We were behind the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) at the dawn prayer, and he recited (the passage), but the recitation became difficult for him. Then when he finished, he said: Perhaps you recite behind your imam? We replied: Yes, it is so, Apostle of Allah. He said: Do not do so except when it is fatihat al-Kitab, for he who does not recite it is not credited with having prayed. (Book #3, Hadith #0822)

Imam Muslim writes: My student, Abu Nasr, asked me if the Hadith narrated by Abu Hurairah in which it says “…when the Imam recites, stay quiet…” is authentic. I (Imam Muslim) said “Yes, it is authentic.” [Sahih Muslim Chapter Tashahhud]

I will give you evidence from quran and sunnah inshallah, but before that you need to clarify: Is it fard to recite Surah Fathiha (Only Fatiha) Behind imam while he is reciting?

There is no direct hadeeth about this issue. The majority is to recite fatiha when imam is reciting silent , and to keep quiet when imam recite loud. Allah Hu Alam.

with respect if you have any shahi hadith that dont read surah Fatiha in any namaz please post here because in that debate I didn't heard any proof

Imam Malik (rah) narrates : سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، يَقُولُ مَنْ صَلَّى رَكْعَةً لَمْ يَقْرَأْ فِيهَا بِأُمِّ الْقُرْآنِ فَلَمْ يُصَلِّ إِلاَّ وَرَاءَ الإِمَامِ ‏.‏ Jabir ibn Abdullah (Ra) said "Someone who prays a raka without reciting the umm al-Qur'an in it has not done the prayer except behind an imam." [Book 3, Number 3.9.40: (Muwatta Imam Malik)]

اتباع''اطاعت'' اتباع(اطاعت) صرف محمدﷺ کی ہوگی،کیونکہ محمدﷺ کی ہر بات دلیل ہے۔اور جس کی ہر بات دلیل ہو اس کی پیروی کرنے کو اتباع کہتے ہیں۔دنیا میں محمدﷺ کی ذات کے علاوہ کوئی بھی ایسا نہیں جس کی اتباع کی جاے۔لہٰذا اتباع صرف محمد ﷺکی ہی ہوگی۔ اتباع(اطاعت)کا مفہوم یہ ہے کہ اﷲ اور اس کے رسول محمد ﷺ کے ہر حکم کو( غیر مشروط اور) مکمل طور پر تسلیم کیا جائے اور اس کے سامنے سر تسلیم خم کیا جائے قرآن میں اﷲ فرماتا ہے 1-اے نبی ﷺ ! لوگوں سے کہہ دو کہ اگر تم حقیقت میں للہ سے محبت رکھتے ہو تو میری پیروی اختیار کرو ۔سورۃ اٰل عمران آیت:-31 -2-کہہ دیجئے! کہ ﷲتعالیٰ اور رسولﷺکی اطاعت کرو۔سورۃ اٰل عمران آیت:32 3-اور ﷲتعالٰی اور اس کے رسول ﷺکی اطاعت کرو تاکہ تم پر رحم کیا جائے۔سورۃ اٰل عمران آیت:132 4-اے لوگو ! جو ایمان لائے ہو ، اطاعت کرو للہ کی اور اطاعت کرو رسول ﷺ کی۔سورۃ النساء آیت:-59 5-ﷲاور اس کے رسولﷺ کی اطاعت کرو اگر تم مومن ہو۔سورۃ الانفال آیت:1 6-جو ﷲہ اور اس کے رسول ﷺ کی اطاعت کرے گا اسے ﷲجنتوں میں لے جائے گا جن کے نیچے نہریں بہہ رہی ہیں جن میں وہ ہمیشہ رہیں گے اور بہت بڑی کامیابی ہے ۔ سورۃ النساء آیت 13 7-جس نے رسول ﷺ کی اطاعت کی اس نے دراصل ﷲ کی اطاعت کی۔سورۃ النساء آیت:-80 8-آج میں نے تمہارے دین کو تمہارے لیے مکمل کر دیا ہے اور اپنی نعمت تم پر تمام کر دی ہے اور تمہارے لیے اسلام کو تمہارے دین کی حیثیت سے قبول کرلیا ہے۔سورۃ المائدہ آیت:-3 9-جو کچھ رسول ﷺ تمہیں دے وہ لے لو اور جس چیز سے وہ تم کو روک دے اس سے رُک جاؤ۔اللہ سے ڈرو ، للہ سخت سزا دینے والا ہے۔سورۃ الحشر آیت: 7- -10-اور یہی میرا راستہ سیدھا ہے اسی کی پیروی کرو اور دیگر راستوں کی پیروی نہ کرو جو تمہیں اس کے راستے سے جدا کردیں۔سورۃ الانعام آیت-:153 11--قرآن میں مکمل وضاحت، ہدایت اور رحمت ہے۔سورۃ النحل آیت:89 12-قرآن وہ راستہ دکھاتا ہے جو سب سے سیدھا ہے۔سورۃ بنی اسرآءیل آیت:9 13-تم لوگ اس کا اتباع کرو جو تمہارے رب کی طرف سے آئی ہے اور ﷲ کو چھوڑ کر من گھڑت سرپرستوں کی اتباع مت کرو تم لوگ بہت ہی کم نصیحت پکڑتے ہو۔سورۃ الاعراف آیت:3 14-اے ایمان والے لوگو!ﷲاوراس کے رسولﷺسےآگےنہ بڑھو اورﷲ سے ڈرتے رہا کرو،یقیناً ﷲ تعالیٰ سننے والا، جاننے والا ہے۔سورۃالحجرات آیت:1 15-اور(دیکھو) کسی مومن مرد و عورت کو ﷲ اور اس کے رسولﷺ کے فیصلے کے بعد اپنے کسی امر کا کوئی اختیار باقی نہیں رہتا (یاد رکھو) ﷲ اور اس کے رسول کی جو بھی نافرمانی کرے گا وہ صریح گمراہی میں پڑے گا۔سورۃ الاحزاب آیت:33 16-اے ایمان والو! ﷲ کا اور اس کے رسولﷺ کا کہنا مانو اور اس(کا کہنا ماننے) سے روگردانی مت کرو سنتے جانتے ہوئے۔ سورۃ الانفال آیت:20 17-اور جو بھی ﷲتعالیٰ کی اور رسولﷺ کی فرمانبرداری کرے وہ ان لوگوں کے ساتھ ہوگا جن پر ﷲ تعالیٰ نے انعام کیا ہے، جیسے نبی صدیق اور شہید اور نیک لوگ، یہ بہترین رفیق ہیں۔ سورۃ النسآء آیت:69 18-اور ﷲ کی اور اس کے رسولﷺ کی فرمانبرداری کرتے رہو، آپس میں اختلاف نہ کرو ورنہ بزدل ہو جاؤگے اور تمہاری ہوا اکھڑ جائے گی اور صبرو سہار رکھو، یقیناً ﷲتعالیٰ صبر کرنے والوں کے ساتھ ہے۔ سورۃ الانفال آیت:46 19-اے ایمان والو! ﷲتعالیٰ سے ڈرو اور سیدھی سیدھی (سچی) باتیں کیا کرو۔تاکہ ﷲتعالیٰ تمہارے کام سنواردے اور تمہارے گناہ معاف فرمادے اور جو بھی ﷲ اور اس کے رسولﷺکی تابعداری کرے گا اس نے بڑی مراد پالی۔سورۃ الاحزاب آیت:70-71 20-اے ایمان والو! ﷲ کی اطاعت کرو اور رسولﷺ کا کہنا مانو اور اپنے اعمال کو غارت نہ کرو۔سورۃ محمد آیت:33 کی محمدًﷺ سے وفا تو نے تو ہم تیرےہیں یہ جہاں چیز ہےکیا لوح وقلم تیرے ہیں

why I am saying this because it is very important issue. lets take two scenario 1.If I read Surah Fatiha Behind Imam I will get credit according to above Hadith Bukhari and Sunan Abudawud. 2.If I dont read Surah Fatiha Behind Imam.I will not get credit according to above Hadith Bukhari and Sunan Abudawud.

Hafidhh Ibn Taymiyyah writes: Imam Ahmad Ibn Hanbal says that the whole Ummah has agreed upon the fact that the verse which states “When Qur’an is recited, listen and remain quiet”, was revealed for salaah, and all scholars agree that it is not essential for the Muqtadi (follower) to recite but he should stay quite and listen. This opinion is authentic because it is in line with the Qur’an. [Fatawah Ibn Taymiyyah Volume 2 Pages 143, 168 and 412 by Hafidhh Ibn Taymiyyah]

why not you post the evidence here ?

with respect please post the evidence here from Quran and Sunnah that dont read Surah Fatiha behind Imam or if we read Surah Fatiha then our prayer will not get credit. I see all three part of the video but didn't get any evidence that don't read Surah Fatiha Behind Imam.

Dear the Hadith you show it not says don't recite Surah Fatiha. only Surah Fatiha is the only which should recite in prayer other wise prayer will not get credit.

my dear bro Lol 1, As Ive mentioned before you need to clarify your possition eg: "Is To recite Surah Fathiha behind Imam Fard, Wajib, Sunnah? etc" 2, What do you mean by "CREDIT" eg; do you mean REWARD, VALID, FARD?? Im getting the impression that you're avoiding my Question or trying to do reverse psychology! If you're to read the quote I've sent you from muslim Hadith. It clearly states "when the Imam RECITES, stay quiet"..ther is no mention "we must recite fathiha and then stay quite"!

میرے ان باتوں کو جواب دے دو تو میں مانوں گا نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے تین باتوں کا حکم دیا ہے ایک کہ تم کچھ بھی نہ پڑھو دوسرا ام القرآن پڑھو تیسرا کیونکہ اس کے بغیر نماز نہیں ہوتی اب رد کرنے کے لئے اتنی وضاحت کے ساتھ کوئی حدیث لائیں جس میں ہوں قرات امام کے پیچھے نہ کرو سورہ فاتحہ بھی نہ پڑھو میں نے تم کو حکم دیا تو وہ حکم واپس لیتا ہوں اور سورہ فاتحہ کے بغیر نماز ہو جاتی ہے یہ حکم لاؤ ایک حدیث میں تین باتیں ہیں اور یہ لوگ دلیل لاتے ہیں امام قرات کرے تو تم خاموش رہو یہ کیسے دلیل بنا دلیل اس طرح ہو تب بات بنے گی سورہ فاتحہ نہ پڑھی میں نے تم کو پڑھنے کا حکم دیا تھا اب اسے میں منسوخ کرتا ہوں اور سورہ فاتحہ کے بغیر نماز ہو جاتی ہے اس طرح کے اگر کوئی حدیث ہے تو پیش کیجئے جناب

please show the evidence that don't recite surah Fatiha behind Imam. it is very important because if you don't recite Fatiha then your whole life prayer will not get credit but if you recite then will get credit according to Hadith.

You don't know that In quran there is a verse that when some one recites Quran in front of any one he has to keep quite and listen .is this not a quran aayat

اسلاف کو چھوڑ کے سلفی بننا یہ اچھی تدبیر نہیں لفظوں کی سیاق و سباق سے ہٹ کے کوئی تعبیر نہیں حرام کو خوب حلال کَہیں اورپھر بھی اہلِ حدیث رہیں کتاب و سنت کی لوگو اس طرح تَو تَوقیر نہیں سب اسلاف کو کافر جانیں اپنوں کی بھی ایک نہ مانیں با ادب ہوں غیر مقلِد یہ اُن کی تقدیر نہیں چند مسائل چوری کر کے شیعوں اور مرزائیوں سے خُوب اُُمت کولڑاتے ہیں کیا پھر بھی یہ شریر نہیں؟ کب احساس کریں گے یہ فکر کی اس آوارگی کا؟ احساسِ زیاں نہ کرنے میں تو ان کی کوئی نظیر نہیں تکمیلِ دین نبیﷺ نے کی اور تمکین صحابہ نے تدوینِ دین اَئمہ نے کی دیو بند بِن تطہیر نہیں تقلیدِ اَئمہ پر اجماع ہے دیکھیئے ساری امت کا اجماعِ امت کے منکر پر کیونکر کوئی نکیر نہیں دینِ نصیحت ماننے والوں کو میری بھی نصیحت ہے ساگر سے بچھڑی موجوں کی کوئی بھی توقیر نہیں اہلِ سُنت والجماعت ایک ہی حق کا راستہ ہے حق کی راہ کو چھوڑنے والوں کا تو کوئی ضمیر نہیں کلامِ فیاض
