Esdaile..was scotish sergeon..he practiced in Bengal.. India during the 1840 s..1843 to 1846..he did four hundred different surgeries..like..amputations.. ಅಂಗ ವಿಚ್ಛೇದನ...removal of timers..and cancerous growths..and operations on the eye..ear..throut..etc.. ..here..the special thing is he did not give any anesthesia to the patient's becouse those days anesthesia is not in progress..becouse .. eather was nnot found on that time.. ..so he did make the patient's to get a trance thro hypnotisum... ..after the completion of operations.. patients said that they did not get any pain..and one more importent thing in those operations was..none of patients was daid during surgery time .... ..that is the power of sub concious mind..
