Managing Our Connecticut Forests

This 1982 University of Connecticut forestry extension video takes us through forest management in Connecticut. Despite being 36 years old, this material is still relevant to current challenges. The host and producer, Carol Youell, was then on the UConn extension staff. Her remarkable career includes serving as director of education for the Connecticut Forest and Park Association. At retirement Ms. Youell served as Natural Resources Administrator for the Metropolitan District and the 31,000 acres of forest that provides fresh water for the greater Hartford metropolitan area.
