My tub enclosure has been at 99% humidity! Paper towel substrate, but had the water bowl on the warm side, moved that to the cool side and added more holes to the tub! Checked the mouth for RI but I think we’re good! She’s grumpy and bit me but that’s understandable, that makes them irritated! Very informative video, go you dude! Keep goin 💕

Ball pythons live in the wild at 90 degrees Fahrenheit and 80% + humidity dont believe me go to Africa and dig into a ball python borrow and take a reading

If you have aspen as the subtrate and a humidty box with dampened sphagnuam moss. Also, have a wide water bowl. Will the snake have enough moisture

Benjamin I’ve got a glass enclosure and the temp is around 88 but humidity is 49% will my ball python be ok ? And I’ve also have the foil tape on top of the whole screen to keep heat in I stay in a cold state so I just want it to be perfect help me please I also use coco chips

I have a glass tank enclosure and use a 100W ceramic heat emitter as well as a side heating pad to bring the temperature to mid 80s. However this also brings the humidity down to mid 30s, sometimes as low as 29%. When I turn the heat off the humidity goes up to 60% but the temperature goes down to 40-50 degrees. I use cypress mulch as a substrate combined with spahagnum moss (75-25 mix) and I have two humidity hides. I tried spraying it down twice daily to bring the humidity up, but within an hour or two, the humidity is back down to 29-35%

Just change fhe substrate staight after fhe shed if you mist it.

HI. I have a rack system with 28 quart bins. I've made tons of holes all in it. Heat tape on 90. Barely 1 inch of forest floor cypres. Yet inside there's fog on the inside walls. The probe says like 90-100% humidity. Can you please help?

@ YevYev 26, We should have some Normal Ball Pythons available within a month or so. Price will depend on how many we produce this season.

I wish I had a problem with low humidity, the humidity where I live is almost constantly 70%-90% I have a dehumidifier running 24/7 with fans and a air purifier and I still have a problem keeping my tubs below 70%

I’ve put so many holes in my tub and the lid and the humidity stays the same but the temps on the cold end will drop to about 72 at night

Just use aspen and use a heat lamp that will definitely lower your humidity

Same, but when I turn on my dehumidifier then the Humidy goes to low and when I turn it back off it goes to high😭😭😭

@@bloodmoneyhistory6845 I’ve been using paper towel and keeping my dehumidifier at 30-40% but if I use any other substrate it goes way high and I’m afraid to use aspen cause of how much moister it hold I don’t want mold growing and I don’t wanna have to change it out ever 10 days either to prevent that problem.

If you are mature enough to get a snake and do research, you are smart enough to already know what humidity is. Why can’t people just jump to the part where where they talk about specific humidity with the specific animal
