Watching people interact and exploring and discovering other people I can't get enough of it

Honestly it's great to sit back and watch. We spent a lot of time, effort and money on Archaios so seeing it come to life is wonderful!

it was so interesting to see different dinos in different biomes, doing their own things! really adds to the ecosystem aspect :D

love it. players understand that admins can't always be spectating to save us from rulebreaks, and we understand submitting tickets has its place, but sometimes it's nice to know there is an admin watching and making sure everyone is having fun, and able to assist in-game if need be

We tend to have atleast one or two staff members observing most nights, while we are a little short staffed atm we still put the communities enjoyment above all else :)

@@vercitorix1 that's wonderful, i come from a lot of semi-realism servers, and have been looking for a true realism server to join. i'll definitely be looking into this one!

I loved this! More of this please :) IDK if you stream but streams of this would be kind of fun. I don't know if it'd be the best idea to stream it but I'd love long form versions of this :) Thanks for the work you put in!

Enjoyed seeing this side of everything! Looks fun. My Thal is very playful and adventurous, but once in a while she misjudges water depth in her dives😂

I appreciate that! It's took a lot of work from the team and community to get the server to where it is so its nice to see people enjoying it or wanting to check it out!

I love the realism niche servers who love to experience immersion. Hopefully this server will include Dinosauria's Sauropod in the server when they release. And Brachiosarus male should be the stocky build bull. Because Argent already has a stocky matriarch. Server admins should definitely do this in the server to observe everything if they're roleplaying realistically and make a documentary if possible

Archaios' player base is very big on immersion which makes things much easier for me! We are tracking most of the mods being made and we never turn a mod down without testing it thoroughly. If it matches our requirements it'll make it in to the server. Yep, our server admins do this quite often. We tend to have a mix of staff playing and staff observing.

Out of curiosity, what does the investigation and punishment look like if you find one of your admins are corrupt?

If a staff member is suspected of corruption by a community member they can do a lead or owner ticket. Only upper staff can see it and we will then go through evidence provided and do our own investigations. Once we feel confident enough that there is enough evidence we will then bring the staff member into a ticket explain what we've found and the accusation against them. They will be given the chance to explain their actions. Once this has been done, we will then go through the consequence process which, depending on the severity, may result in a strike, potential demotion or full removal from the staff team. We do have a standard that we have set for our staff that they can view at all times, if they fall outside of this standard they are pulled up about it. We speak to each staff member privately every month or so to ensure they are on track and happy within the staff team. Communication is key with the staff team and also with the community, it's the main thing we built archaios to have.

I need a server with these rules: No mixpacking Same species shouldnt be able to hurt each other even if they try to. Same group members too shouldnt hurt each other while hunting or fighting. Small dinos can make a group of 5-7, but bigger dinos should be limited to 2-3 dinos per group. Passive growth should be there but not too fast or slow. Bigger dinos should be more OP than the smaller ones. Enough dead carcasses and other food options for all the species so that they dont starve to death. Teleportation should be banned. A sense which can help each dino to track prey in the nearby areas!!!! These will make gaming much more fun.

Why all realism Servers are closed ?

As in passworded? Probably to keep out KOS folk. Although Archaios isn't password protected atm as a trust thing with the community and tbh it's working well.

cant be that fun with only like 10 ppl online

On the contrary, it actually is pretty fun! Seeing something you've been working on grow slowly over time is incredibly satisfying. Especially when your population enjoys the server as much as you do.

It’s because most people only play “Semi-Realism”, like Islander or Isla Nycta. Unfortunately I’ve seen full realism servers not getting much attention.

It takes time to build a following when you’re starting a new realism server. WWD didn’t just start with a huge community, it was built over time. PT:Realism got their following from being associated with the Primordial Tyrants modding team and community who had a big following already. It’s not easy to start a realism server from scratch and I wish Verc the best.

I'm playing on the server right now and honestly it's turning out to be the worst realism server I've been on you're not allowed to play certain dinosaurs without permission you're not allowed to talk in global and you can't even go to half the map

Thats fine, you're entitled to your opinion but think of the bigger picture. With a reduced map size the player will receive more interactions than if we used the full map, as the playerbase expands so does the map, it used to be a lot smaller than it currently is. In terms of apexs not being playable, this is to prevent KOS players abusing our server. It also ensures that you've had atleast a month on the server to get familiar with the ruleset and show you are responsible enough to handle an apex without rulebreaking. Its also to keep the apex population in balance with the rest of the server. Once you have spent a month on the server you can apply for apexes which, provided you have no infractions, you will likely be accepted for.
