As Flight Director during the tragic reentry of STS 107 (Columbia), Mr Cain was magnificent in dealing with that terrible event. He was professional and focused as the emotions flooded him. America and Israel took a hard hit that day, and Mr Cain lost 7 friends. I salute Mr Cain and all the members of NASA, I salute all of the astronauts--from Mercury to the present. God bless them all.

Sorry, Cain dismissed the possibility of critical foam strike damage at his January 31, 2003 media conference. "No concerns" that day. Sad and wrong.

Mr Cain your professionalism during your time as director is greatly appreciated. I am sure you will be remembered as a skilled and proud American.

Leroy explaining the dispersion of energy etc toward the end of the documentary, as complicated and critical an event it is/was, with the thousands of technical brain hours inputed, Leroy simplified it enough for us non NASA people to understand, kind of got me thinking as STS Flight Director, must one had to know absolutely everything of the shuttle event diary..!

He did great in the shuttle programme. Done so !much xxxx

Job well done, everyone. History will look back in awe, and marvel at what you did in the Shuttle program.
