Manaaki and te Marama | Bedtime Story | Read Aloud [Suzy's Book Corner]

Ойын-сауық

The illustrator of this book, Manaaki and te Marama, Kim Filshie and her husband and author of this book, Nick King, are the proud grandparents of a young boy named Manaaki - the boy in this story.
Manaaki helps them remember what it's like to see the world with fresh eyes, because one evening Manaaki discovers te Marama (the Moon) high up in the starry sky. But when it rains, there is no “Marama” and even when the clouds clear Marama is nowhere to be seen. Will Marama ever come back?
The story was read with permission of the Publisher Copy Press Books, find out more at www.copypress.co.nz
