I wonder how the finger move according to his will, is the prosthetic arm somehow connected to his neuro system?

It’s done by measuring his muscles. When he clenches or relaxes his arm as if his hand is still there, the team records the way his remaining muscles move and then program the prosthesis to respond correctly.
