I know te duck not getting cold feet thing was not a real burning question, but the answer is actually pretty dope: their arteries (blood vessels that get blood from heart to limbs) and veins (blood vessels that get blood from limbs back to heart) are very close together in their legs, so the blood that comes from the warm body heats up the blood coming back from the cold feet and thus the duck doesn't get cold. Nature is amazing.
