This brought back memories! Thank you. Used to be one of the best things about living around there, being able to go to the cliff and see the players and get autographs. I've still got autographs from every player in this video, so it must have been around this time I first went. Subscribed for life

@@ClassicManUtdVideos I used to turn up at the cliff to get autographs. Waiting ages behind those barriers. we sometimes used to run and hide in those toilets trying not to miss certain players. Those were the days as a kid

Yeah, players who are average and mediocre driving in £100k+ vehicles. These players who won things and put in 7.5/10 (AVG) performances EVERY game, drive in a family saloon

Imagine if Roy found out about this carry on: "You boys need to be more switched on at this level! It's a six-pointer on Saturday, there's no time for fun and games!", he'd snarl while grabbing one of them by the throat. Lee Sharpe comes across as sound, though.

@@matthewmatthew9485 The reporter is called Rob McCaffery. Last time I seen him was on the phone-in show called 'Your On Sky Sports', must have been late 90's.

Gosh Phil Neville and his notorious early habit dated back the 90s

You know what so funny look at the cars these players are driving and they are 10 times better of most players in the united team now. And you see the players at United driving flashy cars and they are average players with no heart, passion or fight

I'm sure there was a wage cap of sorts that utd stuck to... They were one of the lasts to change the wages structure and go all out.

So many of those players were so arrogant they would not even talk to the staff. Pricks would not even say good morning let alone join in the banter. BZ to Lee sharp.
