Arsenal is the only Premier League team that has never been relegated in history. And yeah I am a arsenal fan have been one since I was 4. North London forever. I went to every game at Highbury. Even the 2006 last game ever played there. The Emirates has the clock from highbury that is why we have the clock end at the Emirates to keep the history alive.

Arsenal 13 league titles, all won, none paid for, 14 FA Cups, all won, not paid for, all since moving from Woolwich in 1913, our neighbours have two league titles 1951, 1961, Chelsea wouldn’t exist if Roman didn’t turn up. We’re the 3rd biggest club in England, Liverpool 6 Champions leagues, 19 titles, are the biggest.

Great Work there Ry! But did you miss out Herbert Chapman‘s statue!! Also I believe there’s a nice tribute to Eddie Hapgood who was England Captain and Arsenal legend of 17 years. I am a former North Bank Season Ticket Holder from 1994/5 and attended many Highbury matches up until the move to Ashburton Grove. I think Arsenal have done a good job on slowly turning it into home. It took a while. You’re absolutely right on The Crest as the Pre 2002 crest was absolutely stunning and the current crest is very plain. One tip I can recommend is you park on the edge of London and Tube/train the rest as it would take the hassle away of parking and driving in London. Keep them coming 👏

Really impressed with all the artwork around the emirates 👏🏽😊

Do not wonder that people all over the world love English teams and PL in general. For people like me, and I live in Poland, Premier League, Serie A or La Liga are places to go to. Polish Ekstraklasa does not exists in Europe. Level of games is mid at best. That is why we go to Manchester, London or other cities to watch games. I am Man UTD fan since 1997. The first time I saw their game. Till this day I reminiscent 98/ 99 Champions League final game. That is also the reason why I plan to go to Old Trafford at least once a year from now on.

Arsenal fan from China here, couldn’t get my hand on a single ticket (men’s game) during my three years living in Britain thanks to Covid and the ticket touts. I was there last December when our women’s team beat Chelsea and set a new WSL attendance record, the stadium was rocking. After the game I asked a local fan to take a photo of me and he wished me many more games at the Emirates but little did he know I would have to leave Britain soon and my first attendance would be my last…for now😢. Hope to go back one day.

Just about the curvature of the stadium, it was designed by a man and team who did the exact same design for Benfica stadium in Portugal. Estádio da Luz. Benfica was first and if you google, you will see it is exactly the same as the Emirates. Basically mirror image.

Which having just checked wikipedia, both were designed by the same architects, so that would make sense, copy and paste job! 🤣

Emirates Stadium is a must-see if you go to London with enough time. Arsenal is a legendary club if there ever was one. Not only from England but from planet Football. Without a doubt one of my favorite clubs in the Premier League of all times. I still remember watching games with legends like Tony Adams or Ray Parlour. (Oh my god how old I am). The home shirt always seemed to me the most beautiful in the entire Premier. Especially when Nike began to be one of its sponsor. By the way: This season's away kit is simply horrible. 😂😂😂 Greetings!

Arsenal (and many other teams) redesigned their badges in the Premier League era because that meant they could copyright the badge. I believe the lovely old badges that many clubs had could be added to merchandise manufactured by anybody and was not suitable for the kit deals that clubs were signing with the big sports manufacturers.

@@RysFootyParadise Yes. The trend has been to simplify the old logos for all sorts of businesses in the last few decades so I suppose that contributed to it. Also, if the logo is simple it makes it harder to create a close copy that is legal whereas you could probably tweak the old Arsenal badge and nobody would notice but it would have enough difference to not infringe copyright. Finally it's probably a lot easier to add the branding to the huge variety of merchandise if it is a relatively simple design. As always, I'm sure it all comes down to money and though you won't really remember much before the Premier League, football did sell its soul once the Premier League and Champion's League came along and the top teams went global. Still, I do appreciate watching more live TV games in a week than used to be available in a year when I was younger.
