He's the club captain that's his job Captain is a public relations officer, brand ambassador, helps with the youth academy, talks with investment partners at meetings, advertises, being the captain of Man United is not just an on-pitch job and hasn't been for over 25 years. Very few clubs do the same

Maguire has the same issue that McFred do When they are together on the pitch they just don't gel properly and both of their form suffers, Maguire and Lindelof are the same way That's why when both of them play with either Varane or Licha they do great

@@victorkreig6089 you’ve a very short memory if you think Maguire played well beside Varane. They were the 2 centre backs before ETH came in and Maguire was useless beside Varane and every other defender he played beside. He’s dropped and now they are winning.
