I remembered back in September, Bom and Kyojun tried the pain simulator and Bom mentioned that she wanted to pour water on Kyojun pants everytime he clenches his muscles, just so he have a clearer simulation of period. One of the hardest parts is when you think you’re all done, so you change your pad to a liner, and then your underwear and pants get bled on as your period reminds you that you’re not completely done with it yet. Rather than walking with my legs kind of apart , i walk with legs closed lmaoo , i feel like walking like that with legs open may leak

2:30 Yup I did the same thing until I can get my hands on a fresh pad! Going through school I quickly learnt to ALWAYS carry extras not just for myself, but for my friends and fellow women. This was probably the only time when ALL the girls at my high school were linked in solidarity; if we saw that someone needed a pad or money to purchase one, we immediately helped. This also worked for when we would bleed through our pants-we immediately would cover each other (even if you were a perfect stranger) with sweaters or, in some cases, walk behind each other.

I wish they would do an all-in experience. Have them wear the period simulator thing on low level on their belly for a day (like an office day where you can't always go to the toilet immediately) and then some kind of contraption that occasionally releases something sticky and visible if it hits the pants - maybe with a little alert (like a bell) because we can also slightly feel the trickle in advance. They are allowed to use pads and need to check them every now and then. Or a fart noice app that starts up occasionally. That won't make you feel it, obviously, but it's already embaressing enough to have others hear it. The more realistic the symptoms are, the better but it doesn't need to be "lie in bed and cry because of pain" level.

Oh! I remember that poll. I also voted in it. Where everything sucks on periods. 😅😇😢😳 I remembered the Padman movie of Akshay Kumar where he tries to experience it himself...

Things they didn't mention that I have either experienced personally, or witnessed in a close friend or family member (all these things are regular period occurrences for the one(s) who experience them at all): 1. headaches (even migraines for some) 2. period poops (sometimes just soft poops more frequently than normal, sometimes actual diarrhea) 3. low-grade fever 4. nausea (vomiting may occur during the most painful times) 5. leg cramps

I'm gonna tell you something as someone who experience what not having a periods feels like (I sometimes don't have it once a month or two). It made me happy and at the same time afraid and insecure bc its make me think something must be wrong with my health when I didn't have my periods coming I always think when is it coming? and worried thinking I have a problem or what. So what I was feeling is happy and afraid at the same time but what most I was feeling is fear.

If it helps, some period skips are due to stress; if you were really sick and/or really stressed I believe technically about the time your egg should drop/lining forms, your body will choose to not create a cycle in an effort to survive first. Sometimes it just delays instead, but the depends on the person/timing of everything. I personally generally ended up late and/or basically skipped if my finals season was during that first half of the cycle. Another thing can be weight/fat content, again your body believe it's starving/bad resources so will choose to prioritize your health in order to successfully procreate later. I believe HyunA actually touched on it briefly that she has to keep her weight above a certain level because things just stop working in her body (especially in addition to her health conditions) though to be fair HyunA is so small to begin with. So just make sure you're eating enough too. Take care of yourself first.

It goes on for like weeks and it becomes annoying after like some time i can't even enjoy something cuz I'm afraid like i don't even know when it will overflow 🙂 the pain And when we add the fact that it is irregular. What happens when it comes during my exam i can't even use restrooms and even when we are allowed we can't carry a fu£king pad all the time . I have some pad in my bad but how can i touch my bag they won't allow it because there is some imaginable cheet sheets in my bag 🙃 it's frustrating 😑

I had a chemistry exam and it was during my period...I took 7 different painkillers just to be able to study to the point that I was sweating cold...and couldn't sleep cause the painkillers contained caffeine...you can guess how well the exam went 🙂

Sometimes the cramps are dull and constant and sometimes it’s sharp pain and sometimes IT’S BOTH ✋ Plus the feverish feeling and chills and headaches and leaks and so much more

The blood just slides off the pad and there are solids too, the more you bleed the more impossible it is. You can't sleep if you bleed more than normal, and I think bleeding more than normal has become the real norm. It's going to get everywhere when you lay down. I've hurt my skin by lining with paper towels in bed, which feels awful. But usually my complaint is the unbearable pain. I really believe it's not SUPPOSED to be this bad, but we aren't living in a way that is really healthy, so it's worse. The best thing I've learned is to take care of my body extensively in the week before and after the period... which really means I'm spending most of my life being gentle.

It's worth going to a gynecologist (especially one that is more understanding) to make sure it isn't anything else. If it's truly unbearable pain, there might be something underlying making it worse than our modern eating habits and living habits etc. I really hope you're not just someone unlucky. If it helps, I have a friend who generally has atrocious cramps. She found working on her ab muscles/back muscles to be really helpful. I think it balances the muscle sensations. It's something to consider at the very least in case you can't go to a doctor (or the doctor you have available to you is not very understanding). Extra hydration supposedly also helps to prevent additional muscle cramping from overworking, but that one doesn't work as well for me (I just use heat packs).

​@@haenahkim Thank you. I really appreciate your response. I was too scared to see a doctor when I was younger, then when I finally tried to in 2020, I was hurt very badly by the doctor. I actually cried and screamed in pain and I'm a very quiet person who doesn't make noise or complain normally. It was a terrible experience, I didn't continue talking to this doctor and just left. I tried to get my follow up appointments elsewhere, but due to "covid", no place ever returned my phone calls and I gave up after some months. So now I guess I'm just waiting to decide where to go, but I admit I feel a lot of fear. The best cramp relief I've found is from peaches or hot to room temperature peach tea. I always love to hear more personal experiences and tips. ☺

@@Ajlez Some doctors are just too bitter or naive sometimes to realize the harm they have done. There are still many out there who are open, but trauma with the last one can be hard. I'd definitely ask around if you can to try to find on the area that people have had good experiences and/or check places like reddit where people might have recommendations through your local subreddit. Food wise, I always get relief from meat but I think it's cause there's something satisfying about ripping apart something when in reality you want to rip apart your uterus XD

Omg First! I love Giggle!

The only thing that bothers me is probably the cramps. Which fortunately, I think I'm on the less severe side. Since I'm using a menstrual cup now, I only have to change once or twice in a day. If I wash my face and moisturize enough, I don't get acne. So, if it's really mild, it is possible to manage to not have mood swings and pretend like it's not your period. But for people who have it much worse (and even those who don't), it's always nice for others around to take note and care for you well 😊

Hahaha there's that one time when I had my menstrual pain a day before my actual period and it really hurts, I couldn't stand nor try to walk. I stayed in my position for almost 30 minutes and hoping it would be gone. Menstrual pain is something women endures every month. Respect to everyone!! Hope y'all get through it everytime you experience it and actually me too haha..

yes we have to deal with this uncomfort stuff and so much more while doing important things (being at work/school, going shopping, going out, etc) it's even harder

Worst part is when we sneeze… it comes down like Niagara Falls 💀

Also when you completely freshened up (new pad, pants, etc). That feeling is so nice….. for it soon to be ruined again 😭

I once made a boyfriend put on a pad and put a couple of teaspoons of sightly watery jello in their underwear for a few hours. They never complained about my periods again. Seriously, if you can have it get the rod. It's a real life changer

I have a back injury, my period, and strep throat all at the same time. This is honestly hilarious to me.

And then people say things like, “She’s so angry. She’s probably on her period..LOL.” It’s ESPECIALLY infuriating when guys say dumb things like that.

Since I've used menstrual cups, I can kinda tell a day before I'm gonna have my period, you can kinda tell by the feeling you get. And I think that happens now because I'm now used to not feeling the damp feeling, so even the smallest shift in movement down there, I notice, so it's like an alarm. But I don't know if that's just me or if this also happens to pad users and I just don't remember anymore haha

I feel like because I don't have to worry as much about bleed through since you can just pop it in early (compared to tampons where you cant), you end up paying attention a lot more to your body and picking up cues you ignored while dealing with everything. Some girls can predict it based on certain pains (boob pain usually) and sensations before it even drops, and I never really understood that until I could really just focus on how I feel leading up to it vs worrying about the mess etc.

Same for me with the cup! I mean I was able to tell before starting to use the cup too, but the feeling was different. Now it's like you described it.. even a few days earlier. Before when I didn't use the cup I would just get a weird dull feeling, not pain but "different", and it would come some hours later or the same days. But now I do feel "mmm something's different, so must be that". It's like it's damp even without being damp XD Not sure how to describe it

I could always tell regardless of what I use. Skin alone is an i dictator and then the body pains and inflations come first. I wish the cup worked for me but for now the one I tried wouldn't work before day 3. Cause everything is so sensitive and hurts that it's absolutely no option. Even after the slight suction that needs to be created is uncomfortable. It really sucks since I'm super aware of the waste. Wish me luck with period underwear trials soon-ish (when I get to it. For now stress is cancelled. War is driving relatives out of home and our way, to safety. No room for any extra discomforts! 😑)

@@KxNOxUTA that sensitivity sucks, i hope it at least has other benefits for you. There comes a point where health and safety can be more important than a touch extra waste. If you cant avoid one thing, there are plenty of other ways to reduce ones trash anyways (and arguably it is also us pressuring institutions vs our comparatively small footprint). Hope your relatives stay safe.

It's really hard that everytime I'm on my period I wished I was a man 😭 another thing with going to the bathroom is the constant pain on my lower back and experiencing lbm even though I don't have any to excrete. I have severe migraine whenever I'm on too that I drink 5 to 6 cups of coffee just for it to subside (can't afford to consult a doctor, a consultation fee is astronomical in my country) 😭 the worst is that I'm irregular meaning I don't know when my period will start, one time I didn't get period for 3 months that I started panicking even though I'm not sexually active. My family is also skeptical about drinking medicine whenever we're on period so it adds to my fucking burden 😀

The thing I hate about my periods is that they come at inconsistent times throughout the year, due to my PCOS, which means I always have to keep tampons or pads with me wherever I go. Emergency tampons in my purse, emergency pads in my office desk, etc. When my guy friends ask me why I carry a big purse, it's normally to hide these emergency necessities.

4:52 I remember sitting like this while sitting for my University exam (3-4 times) because the dates coincided with my periods, (1st and 2nd day mostly). I get heavy flows and my pad was full and unfortunately I didn't bring extra one (the first time when this happened). And another time I was getting severe cramps and heavy flow, though I had extra pad but the washroom was too dirty (I got my seat in another college) and I couldn't bear the sight and smell of it. We sit like this fearing we would stain the seats and make it dirty, even though it's not in our hands to control its flow!

Funny thing is i just started my period today😂😂 and this lightened my mood

Ughh periods are the worst like I got mine today in class had hot flashes needed to go to the bathroom every 2 minutes and I was like super out of it. By the time I got home I drank a bit of juice eat candy took some pain killers and slept I was out of it

I'm from ths US and this is extremely common to use but I heard that they are not common in Asia and lots of people have never heard of them. Is this also true in South Korea? It seems like they would be the most practical option for a fast-paced city life.

Dunno about Korea but tampons are very uncommon in Indonesia and much of the rest of Southeast Asia, partly due to cultural obsessions with virginity and all that crap.

I've heard that they're not common at all and they're quite expensive and the selection isn't good. Even female idols use pads I'm pretty sure. I'm not too sure about that last one fhough

I watching this while I am on my period and this makes me laugh more at the same time feeling that sticky wetness, pain, frustration...

My period pain gets pretty bad… it often feels like I’m being constantly stabbed by red hot knives and red hot chainsaws in my abdomen

I also didn't have period cramps and I still don't during the whole day but right when I'm about to lay in bed and sleep, my stomach starts hurting and I keep waking up after every two hours and the next day I've to go to school all exhausted from lack of sleep.. It started happening from last month

I could relate to the comments, cause it is really uncomfortable and sometimes embarrassing. Especially, when you just got your period and don’t know much about it and don’t have a proper cycle. For example, once I got my period while being in a important exam that we had to write for two hours and I couldn’t take any meds or go to the bathroom, so it bleeder through my cloths. I was so embarrassed and in pain, that I went straight home after it.

The moment he sat down I would have wanted her to spray his upper butt area because if you happen to sit wrong you end up with spreading the blood far too high. Also period poops are intense and annoying. Great video 😅
