I had no idea what I was walking into when I pulled up STORM by OTYKEN. Right away the visuals of the video were captivating, and the completely unique sounds this band made swept me away. So much to pay attention to, so this is a track that definitely requires another listen! Very happy that I checked this one out!

This is a Siberian group. Its participants are from the indigenous peoples of Siberia.
This is one of many awesome songs they have, I’m into a Mongolian Folk/Metal band called the Hu, ran across Otyken searching for reaction videos on The HU. I am now obsessed with Otyken, and getting them to do a collaboration with the HU, despite my reaction to where they’re from. Let me explain, they are from Central Siberia, Altai mountain region, in Russia, the Former Soviet Union. I am a 59 year old US Army Cold War era Veteran … Yet after the initial shock of where Otyken is from passed, I can’t get enough of them, even bought their album on iTunes 😝

Otyken! I had this on my list of recommendations I was going to give you. You should do Legend next. That's the song that got me into them. I think they're Siberian maybe?? I think ethereal rather than eerie no? Their best songs are Altay and Phenomenon. They will not disappoint you in any way.
