I know right! I was very impressed with myself at the end of my good deed when I was driving into my driveway one late night and overheard a loud squeal. When I got out of my Dodge Charger Hellcat I've noticed in the middle of my 22" rear driver side wheel a severely squashed bunny. First, I yelled out to it's body "Why didn't you watch where you were going?" and thought to myself "why am I yelling?" Secondly, I called my vehicle insurance. I hung up in middle of explaining to the agent what had happen because I didn't want my insurance rates to increase. And thirdly, as I was about to dial 911 as I looked down on my grass to finally notice that there was this group of bunny siblings squealing (I guess the entire time of me being there) as if they knew that their sibling met its fate with the Hellcat. So after I hung up the phone I found a piece of old tree bark that I use to peeled the bunny from off of my driveway to flick it inside of a Sonics Styrofoam cup. Then I emptied out the remainder of Clorox Bleach that I've had in the house to use to help cleanup the blood/stench. I immediately cut off half of the bleach container to place each living bunny into the container one by one with a pair of long needle nose pliers. I then drove the squealing bunnies to a Forest Preserve to place them near the creek so that they can reminisce in the moon light about their time that had with their sibling. After given myself several pats on the back and treated myself to a large strawberry milkshake when I made it back home there was a rabbit in the spot where the bunnies were. I'm assuming that it was the mother as this rabbit was staring at me with a slight twitch of it's ear while it was exposing it's 2 brownish/yellowish stained buck teeth. So, I thought of the frozen carrots that I had in the deep freezer. Because rabbits like carrots. There was no time time to thaw the carrots so I took the entire bag outside and chucked several plus pieces of carrots towards/around/against the rabbit as a gesture of....I don't know...."sorry for your lost" (shoulder shrug)....I guess?! Yeah, I'm going to run with that. Like I've stated earlier, I'm very impressed of the services that I've provided for those bunnies.

I told they I wasn't sure it was going to make it, because it was unresponsive. I put it in a shoe box and kept it warm. In a half hour to my amazement it was crawling around!! Off to the store for kittle formula. It ate like a little piggie and I found an animal rehabilator a couple days later.

It's just a question of semantics and correct use of the word rather than the emotion itself. I'm sure animals must have empathy among themselves, but humans can only feel empathy toward other human emotions . Here's an example : I know what grief feels like. If i am an empath ( again, thank God, it's rare, and i am not ), and i encounter someone who is grieving, i will feel this person's grief as if i was experiencing it emotionally and physically myself. An so on and so so throughout my day, i feel the emotions of everyone i meet. I have no idea how a cat feels when she is grieving, but sure can have sympathy for her if she lost a litter mate or a kitten. Hope that helped in some small way clarify what i was trying ( apparently not well - lol ) to say. This man had sympathy, kindness and compassion to spare !!!

Oh god, what a sweet little baby ❤ And how amazing, that this sweet man took Bob in 🙏🏼 Almost 3 years ago, we took in 2 little kittens, they still had a little piece of umbilical cord, so they were only a Day or 2 old. We bottle fed Them both every 3 hours. It was REALLY hard work, but also really worth it ❤ Tootsie will be 3 this spring, and she is the most beautiful cat. ♥️ Her sister didn’t make it 😢 Since then, we have fostered many kittens and cats. It is the most rewarding job 🙏🏼

ALL FIGHTING EACH OTHER TO GET THE BOTTLES! LOL 😂 I HAD SCRATCH MARKS EVERYWHERE! OUCH! BUT THEY WERE WORTH ALL THE HARD WORK. SUCH SWEET BABIES. He should be held up as a shining example of what it means to be a human being. I consider myself an animal lover but the care he took of his fellow creature from the very first moment he discovered it brought a lump to my throat. To firstly think of giving its mother a chance to reclaim it and then deciding to hand rear it gives us a look into his soul - to care for and watch a tiny defenceless creature grow stronger every day must be a beautiful feeling to experience. It is knowing that such wonderful people like him exists makes us feel less guilty about being members of a species that can and does inflict terrible cruelty on our fellow creatures in the name of “sport” or being “a real man”.

Keep strong. Dont forget that despite the evil in this world, God is full of justice, mercy and love. Justice said we broke His perfect law - causing the world's previous perfection to be destroyed - and therefore we deserve Hell (like a punishment in any legal system but this is eternal as His perfect law is eternal too). Don't think you fit in that category? Ever done one of these?: lying, stealing - regardless of how small the object EVER, hating others - which is murder in God's perfect law, lusting (plus God sees our entire thought life). Justice says "the soul that sins shall die" - if we break one in thought/word/deed it's as if we're guilty of all of them. Quite simply, living by the law (which is doing everything perfectly) is impossible for sinful humans . The law shows us that 1. We will die in Hell if we fail to follow it and 2. We cannot save ourselves BUT, 3. God's perfect, immovable law points us to Christ, who followed and fulfilled the law in thought, word and deed perfectly in our place. He did what we couldn't and did it on our behalf. He was then sentenced to death on a cross, and took our personal punishment for our sin, paying our penalty (like paying our fine) completely FOR us, and has given us freedom. If we turn from the sins we have committed and repent (pursue the opposite direction of love through Christ) He will, overtime, recreate us back into that previously perfect image through The Holy Spirit which Jesus sends to all who accept Him as their personal Lord and Savior of their life. It's not about following the law - perfectly, as it's impossible - it's about letting Christ in to guide and teach you and obeying Him through His power (not ourselves as it's impossible without depending on His power and instruction). He is our substitute in His life, death and resurrection. He essentially rewrote history in our place so that, if you believe in Him, it will be as if you had never sinned if you accept Christ's death as our own in our place. He is in Heaven right now preparing a place for us so that He can take His faithful, believing children home with Him when He returns. He will ressurrect us from death when He returns, giving mercy to those who accept His love, instruction and teachings in their life, and give justice to those who refuse it. He doesn't want ANY of us to go to Hell and die for continuing in evil and rejecting His way to life, thats why He died FOR us. Hes giving EVERYONE a chance, He wants everyone to take the free gift of salvation from Hell. He wants us to be His and begin to follow His life of love and service through His power and abiding (staying) with Him. So long as we keep our hearts near to Christ through His strength, strive to follow His will of perfect love revealed in the Bible, and let Him lead in the midst of (very certain) pitfalls and struggles, we will, in time, win the ultimate victory over sin, pain and DEATH through Christ. Even if you are willing to be made willing, pray for Jesus to come in and He will do what we can't. Give us The Holy Spirit who will guide us in the right way. NOTE: You are NEVER too sinful or messed up that God cannot turn your life around through Jesus. EVER If you have any questions let me know

This born and bred Caribbean woman loves squirrels. I was introduced to them from reading books. So, when l came to the U.S A it was love at first sight. Thanks for sharing.🥰🥰🥰

Squirrels are awesome little animals! So intelligent, affectionate and playful! They can make great pets but it's always best to release them back to the wild whenever possible.
