Stacie H you might be right. My cousin was told she couldn’t have children too (at a very early age) now she has a daughter and a son on the way. You just can’t trust these doctors sometimes.

My boy is 1 month old and I cried just thinking of how hard it would be to have TWO, ALONE, and one with special needs. My heart is breaking for this woman.

Hopefully she'll use birth control going forward, and him too! Having kids by someone you never wanted kids by is REGRET in its highest form. It's something you never get over or pass.

That's awesome! I hope you learn it one day! One day I saw a server at Buffalo Wild Wings signing to his customers and I was like wow, that's amazing, he really tailored their experience so they didn't miss a beat about feeling included in the dining experience. This was years ago but it still influenced me. I remember I was a server myself and had a deaf couple come in and I felt so horrible that our communication was just so difficult I still feel like I ruined their dining experience and this was over 5 years ago.

Technology is so advanced now! She can get a cochlear implant. Surgery at a young age and which will give her the ability to develop hearing almost normally etc. It's a pretty amazing thing!

My eyes beyond watered up when the judge read how much the surgery and hearing aid would be for the baby girl... praying for her and any other babies that have to go through this.

I really appreciate Judge Lake for her compassion and commitment to help every child that comes into her courtroom. I, myself, am a nurse who cares for children with special needs and I do everything in my power to ensure that my clients live a healthy life at home with their families and only need to see a doctor for routine check ups and/or treatments. My clients are the heroes in my life because they enter this world struggling to survive defects and they always smile and giggle every time they see me. She DID trap him and the medical documentation statement was the truth. I've trained and studied on body language over 10 years in the Department of Homeland and the United States Army and SHE WAS 100% LYING!! She did give him medical papers and she lied about birth control

He's a really beautiful children! The cochlear implant is nothing short of a miracle and will significantly improve this beautiful child's ability to communicate! And if both his parents learn sign language they will be a blessing not only to their children but to their community period through so many ways that sign language can be shared and utilized throughout their community. I'm praying for the miracle of of healing for this beautiful child!

Absolutely correct. And that was a bunch of BS about schooling, and all of this and that. My ENTIRE family was either born deaf, or lost our hearing . My grandmother and her two sisters went deaf in their teen's. My mom had 8 children( by her husband, only one...LOL). Four of us were born deaf, the other 4 lost our hearing very young. My son was born hearing, but is now deaf. He speaks very well because he was an early talker, and his hearing didn't start declining until he was 2. Everyone can overcome.

@twistedblktrekie Some family's have their own way of saying certain things. And yes, they do have their own community! LOL I live in a big metropolitan area, and deaf ppl know deaf ppl. The GOSSIP...smh....LOL A couple of my brothers refused to take part in "deaf clubs", because they said "It's all gossip"! I doubt it was that bad.

I really feel for her, I don't have children yet and twins run in my family and my brother (which is a twin) was born totally deaf and sister was born partial deaf (hard of hearing) in one ear. I was born deaf,I'm 47 years old ln lts a very scary situation especially when l was younger.Some times even now l have my moments of fear.l don't even know sign language.I just know that my God Grace and Mercy ls keeping me covered🙌🏽 Beautiful Story❤
