That poor daughter having to babysit her siblings including a one year old every other day while her mom was gone

So many cases of women with LOW self esteem or none at all but this one resonates with me…… I am the oldest of 7. My mom has 5 different baby fathers AND I am raising the youngest who is 6. I’ve had him since birth but, before I began raising him, I was left with the responsibility of raising her other children while I was underage. I didn’t have a childhood because I because a mother in Elementary school for her! Anywho, I find it hard to empathize with women who care more about their own selfish needs than the needs of their children smh. She’s a poor a excuse for a woman for leaving her children at him and driving 1 and a half hour (both ways) to be with a stranger. And a poor excuse for a woman for obvious reasons.

I birthed two children, a son and five years later, a daughter. Both are the spitting image of their father, spitting image. Each was light skin, just like their father, the same nose, hair, fingers, everything. Even today, family and friends ask "are you sure you had them, they look nothing like you". As babies, people swore the hospital give me the wrong baby. Even I can't see a piece of me in them, but I had them. The only thing I feel they got from me is their brains. I was told by a DNA expert that it all depends on how the genes fall and, obviously, both my children got most of their genes from their father. As Black people, we can come out all sorts of ways color wise.

I look nothing like either of my parents and my 2 month old son looks nothing like me or his father. We're all light skinned. But my son looks like my sisters when they were babies and one of my cousins as a baby. It's weird
