Glad to hear you liked it. I know that shorter videos are better for a lot of people, but I just can't produce a ton of regular videos. Most people don't realize it can take a good 20 hours or so to make a short video like this. Live streams only take a couple hours, so it's not like I would be making more shorter videos if I didn't do live streams. I recommend not watching the long ones at all or watching them on fast speed and skipping around in it to the juicy parts :)

When de molding a high strength mold ( silicone has no stretch) you make z cuts on both sides ...not much... ( invert it) so it seals up with elastics when you pour the resin and put in pressure pot . Using a plastic grocery bag is a big help . . . Always spray your mold box and object with Mann’s 200 mold release when making before pouring your silicone to make mold this helps in release of object .

There are some ways of pouring that will minimize air bubbles getting into the mold, and some of the thinner viscosity silicones can get away without degassing, but it's best to just degas it if you have a vacuum chamber. It's the worst when you get a big bubble in a mold that will be pressurized, basically makes it unusable if the details are super important

I've always been told to use vacuum, it actually expands and removes the air bubbles. Pressure would just shrink them until you release pressure, then they grow back to the original size. It doesn't work the same as resin casting for some reason

  • @PeterAgostiniJdcap26

You use a vacuum chamber to remove bubbles from silicone so it pours an forms around you item you want to duplicate into a silicone mode with no imperfections. This is called degassing the silicone.
