    Genuine question and not being an arse, but why don’t you stick the camera on a tripod and just use handheld to point out certain things? Saves us getting sea sick and saves you hassle maybe?

    because i would have to run the tripod camera constantly, then synch up both cameras and its just not worth it for a little garage update. I did just buy an Osmo Pocket 3 which i think would work much better in this scenario - failing that, strap a go pro to my face.

    Great episode, love it - would really like to see how you go about designing the fairing decal placements etc, as I am waiting for some race fairings after destroying my originals at Snet, and will want to have it looking, better than just CRC black etc.

    There is a flapper in the snorkel, (vacumm actuated) thats what the flying sorcer thing with the hose is for, you want to remove the flapper because it reduces airflow to reduce emissions

    On the brakes, I believe the RCS17 is the master cylinder specd for the R1 just FYI

    You could work a nice blue stripe from tail to radiator that incorporates the blue panel. Yamaha blue and black is their motogp colors.

    Just a question..With banjo bolts for break caliper bolts should you not use Loctite? Maybe I missed that part

    Hey !!! You really need to search this English motorcycle mechanic on youtube. The guy is brilliant. Step by step patient instructions. I have swapped 2 chains sprocket kits and bleed breaks all the time. Bleed breaks so fast without fancy tools. So easy ROCK SOLID. (dats what she said)

    You can bleed the older master cylinders at the top by loosening the top banjo like you would a bleed nipple. Makes a mess though so rags to the ready

    No lockwire holes in those over-expensive probolt caliper bolts... Allen disc bolts instead of Torx.....why dyou think yamaha changed to Torx like at least 20 years ago? Incompetent probolt "engineers"

    Yeah and copper slip on caliper bolts is a big no no especially with titanium they need to be dry torqued

    Crap aluminium banjos, right? OEM bolt torque spec 30-35Nm. Crap aluminium bolts 15-17Nm. You basicly moved the weak link from the lines to the banjo. 👍
