They should have used the room for what it was best at: luxuries consumption, energy production, bitcoin mining, and medical procedures. They had the right idea at the start when they were drinking liquor and eating caviar. Basically anything that is consumed is fair game. Same with bitcoin mining. Wish for racks of GPUs and generators and gasoline to power it all, and in the end, you'll have calculated the hashes before anyone else does, and for free too. Finally, medical procedures are probably the most lucrative -- you can wish for any machinery, reagent or part you need, as long as you do it entirely within the room. Transplants are off the table, though.

I’ve been thinking about this. There should be a rule that all videos using A.I. should have it stated in the description that A.I. is used.

I thought the twist would be that all the things that they wish for were the originals. Like they would now be considered art thieves, bank robbers, and kidnappers. Imagine things in the real world disappearing, and authorities tracing back to the house :)

Some people theorize that the Room (if it's sentient) will magically make any information disappear no matter if you wrote, encrypt it in data, or anything, but that's not confirmed. I'm going to say it's not that powerful because the protag was able to talk with the guy in the Asylum about the Room. For me, my strategy would be to get the information out digitally, such as upload it to the cloud or email it to a trusted friend.

What if you bought a copier and lots of paper from outside and brought it in the house, then asked the room for the best series of novels that are record-breaking best sellers (along with movie and streaming show screenplays) then run them through the copier. Would the books survive leaving the house since the paper and toner cartridges weren't from the room? Along those lines, could you ask the room for digital stuff (movies, shows, influencer tik toks, etc.) transfer the files to a laptop brought in from outside, and take the digital info outside the house?
