6.22.24 | Video by Adam | JAMAICA QUEENS (DCPI) - On Saturday, June 22, 2024, at approximately 2140 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a male stabbed inside of the 169-03 Jamaica Avenue, within the confines of the 103 Precinct. Upon arrival, officers observed an unidentified male, unconscious and unresponsive, with multiple stab wounds to the neck and shoulder. EMS responded and pronounced the male deceased on scene. There are no arrests, and the investigation remains ongoing.
According to the bodega owner/worker, the altercation was between two men, possibly even three. One of them said "lock the door! he stole my wallet!" and the victim grabbed a baseball bat belonging to the bodega and started swinging at the assailant armed with a knife. He was then stabbed to death. They described him as a male, guyanese, about 40 years old.

This is the second time I see you call a stabbing at a BODEGA when the stores are middle-eastern. This incident here occurred in a Gourmet Store, and the other was a Deli. BODEGAS are primarily neighborhood Spanish Grocery Stores that supply everything from meat, beer, milk, diapers, cigarettes, etc. They are not Convenience stores owned by Yemenis, Arabs, Koreans, Chinese, or any other ethnic group.
