I have driven this truck in the us and Canada making 35 thousand pound delivery's It is one bad ass mamba Jamba $$$$ 600 HP 1850 ft. lbs. of torque. I know you don't see it on video but the sleeper compartment is a 63 inch sleeper that does equal the Volvo vnl 670 .

Trucks may very well look like this in the future...jesus they should now...if ever there was a vehicle that needed the attentions of the wind tunnel it's a truck. The new Scania will only save an owner 1% in fuel savings!...And Scania are bragging about it...lol. This MAN thing shown here...I could get used to it, its ok.

Looking at that thing gives me the same feeling as seeing a cool car in the parking lot and then notice its an automatic.......or you open the hood of most modern cars and all you can see is the plastic! I understand why they make these changes, but it sucks that it has come to this!

+Dragon Steel I'm very very sure the engineers are not idiots. When designing brand new trucks worth thousands, they wont be worse. Its called evolution. New style, new functions, better efficiency, more aerodynamic and more power, think about it logically and read its specifications. Even the wheel design is clearly brand new. Never assume.

I've been in ownership of the trucking industry for years. I've seen "new and improved" more time than I can count. New does not mean improved, we have 2014 rough riders, they beat you up more than a 90's cabover. New and improved often includes new and increased repair bills too.

@TankerUSA Actually, yes. Yes they do. Because a truck like this would never make it down a bumpy cobblestone road, common in some parts of germany. heck, speedbumps and potholes would completely wreck that thing. And it's just the civilian trucks really. MAN sure knows offroad well. Of course, those trucks have FEET of suspension travel lol. They're not tatra, but damn they're good.

One thing about the aerodynamics. The thing is way to tall and steep. And therefor, not very aerodynamic. I wonder who saw that, and sad: "Yes. That is as aerodynamic as it gets!" It`s not! Why don`t they just make the cabin a bit longer? Then they have more area to make it slope at a nice degree. And then its more space for the driver. And with this, "a-little-bit-longer" truck. They can make a beautiful, and aerodynamic truck. How hard can it be!? -Jeremy Clarkson
