Bringing the daily mourinho news to the Irish guy Jose was at the roma stadium yesterday for an interview about his season. After the interview as he was leaving a kid in the stands said "Hey jose. Can you say hi to my classmates via phone" Jose said "Sure. What class are you in? Give me the phone" The kid said he was year 7 ans jose said "Hello to all the roma fans in the year 7 class. Lazio fans get lost" a threw back the phone then left 😂

Kalvin didn't walk out on Leeds when we went down. He kept us up after boosting his value at the Euros, made us nearly £50 mil, then it was Victor Orta spending that on quitters that sent us down. If City got relegated and we got promoted this season I'd like to think he'd return to Elland Road for some much needed PL experience in our midfield

Not really. People usually City fans, always point to the UEFA charges that did not stick and were dismissed by the CAS. This was done because they had a time limit on charges and most of the charges filed were beyond that limit. That’s what the CAS ruled. However, the EPL does not have that rule and charges can be filed for offences years ago. That’s why City are panicking now, they know they are in real trouble.

@@RDASoccerI could be wrong, but can they not just take it to the courts? I'm unsure, as I'm not British. If they can, I think we both know the only way to make sure this isn't swept under the rug is for the owners to decide defending the charges isn't worth it. Also, I can't imagine the british government would want to lose all their investment in Manchester. Again, I could be wrong.

Firstly remember that Everton had one serious change while City has few major ones and countless minor ones. I think the idea is that FA have a buckshot strategy - shoot at everything and hope that something will land. And some transgressions are minor enough that FA probably would not even care prosecuted other clubs for it. I am Manchester City fan so I do not want compare my club to mafia, but I think that FA has the same approach to prosecuting City like some jurisdiction have to prosecuting mafia: there are unable to prove anything major because how mafia boss is layered up and how the law as so many flaws and loophole, so they try to get them on minor things like... e.g. tax evasion. So it seems to me that FA idea is: probably everything major transgressions they did were legal due to how and laws are flawed, but there must be something we can latch on and punish them. Also just from sport perspective, 70 point penalty for few seasons would be far more interesting, because they would have to fight for life to stay in Premier League and if they would fall down staying even in Championship would not be guaranteed.

The biggest take away from these pending charges is how City is reacting to them. With the UEFA charges they were defiant and laughed them off because they knew due to the time limit to file charges was breached they would get off, however just listen to what Pep is saying publicly now. He’s saying wherever they play next season he will still be there. City knows they are in big, big trouble this time…..

Also, technically it is possible, that even if City would got relegated to National League, they still could play in Europe. KDB, Phil Foden and Rico Lewis came to Manchester City before Guardiola. And there many more players who joined City before Guardiola, but many of them ended their careers already due to how long Guardiola already is at the Etihad Stadium.

One charge = 10 points, right? So if City ends up with 100 charges should they take a 1000 point deduction this year and drop down like 10 levels or should they just take 100 points over the next 10 years and try their chances in the Championship?

Honestly staying up and basically crippling there finances makes more sense . i will also say that guardiola not long for city anyway just because he will probably want to bring glory to spain and swear spain doesnt sack whatever manager for him in a instant

Points deduction will be the least of their problems if they are found guilty. Even if they are found guilty for half of the charges, they'll be looking at 4th tier at best and potentially be stripped of the league trophies they won between 2009-2018.

Nothing will happen to City, or Chelsea. Rules don't apply to the "Big 6". UEFA and Sky need these clubs because of the money they generate. If Villa or Hammers for example had 115 charges against them, they'd already be severely punished.

Out of Manchester City and Everton, I would say that the latter stands more chance of going down to the Championship. Yes, Manchester City broke the rules, but then again when clubs owned by foreign billionaires can veto the loan agreements money talks. Also, if the Premier League did demote Manchester City, you are going to see a hellscape - the owners will pull out and unless Loadsamoney pulls up you could be talking the end of the club or Maine Road FC becoming their continuity club. Let's face it, the FA and Premier League don't have the b*llocks to demote them.

But this current one is doing really well too, and Unai Emery has got them back to being a top half team getting Europe PS: you EXPOSED Grealish for that 2012 tweet. My word man that was brutal
